WoW kind of has one too as others have pointed out - the Gnomes.
I believe the OP is talking about things like Lalafell, who pretty much all look like children despite being adults. There was one quest chain in FF14 where you talk to this one that basically looks like a kid but talks about her various ahem “adventures” in the past before revealing she’s actually a grandmother.
I can understand why Blizzard would want to shy away from such characters…as far as NPC’s in FF14 there isn’t anything bad going on but once you get into player RP it can get kinda…yikes especially if mods are involved.
Anyway, the “little people” races (who were pretty much inspired by Hobbits in LOTR), WOW has that covered with Gnomes. The only differene is that Gnomes look less like human children and more like a different race entirely.
Maybe you should look up why TRP eventually had to be moderated when it originally wasn’t lol.
I wish this was always the case. Sadly it’s not.
