Why do people like Negan from The Walking Dead?

If you walk up to a random person and shoot them for no reason, is that right or wrong in your opinion?

I mentioned jail since I assume you’re not there which means you’ve made good choices thus far.

I assume you don’t rob people or hurt people since you have a moral sense of what is right and what is wrong.

I dont know a civilized country where they are raised without morals giving them a sense of right and wrong.

I’m starting to believe you’re being purposefully obtuse.

The answer is right in front of you.

You’re playing a Forsaken. Their racial is to eat people. Why do you like playing such a morally reprehensible race?

You’re also playing a game that gives you quests to murder, lie and steal. That’s ok but for someone to like a fictional character in a fictional TV series means they have “a screw loose?”

What is wrong with you, is the real question.

Remember now we live in a world where real people are treated like fictional characters and fictional characters are treated like real people

I still think my answer of “he hot” is enough lol

If you defend and agree with their heinous actions then yes.

But they’re not real actions, just like your character doesn’t really eat people.

Again, what is wrong with you?

I haven’t been obtuse at all I have just been poiting out the flaws in your arguement as you have argued in absolutes, with sentences like right and wrong are universal. They are not. A person can think eating meat is wrong while another believes it to be fine. Your whole standpoint in morals and beliefs is well just that a belief, an idea. Not something real or tangible.

It’s the appeal of the antihero, like my namesake.

Negan would want to kill Forsaken though. Sapient or not, they’re zombies.

They’re not real actions but they still trigger an emotional response based on your personality and morals, if you see a heinous act that makes you happy something is wrong with you.

It would be no different than watching something or hearing about something terrible irl and laughing about it.

He started off as a cocky villain that was ruthless. EVERYONE loves a great villain.

Vader
Clearance Boddicker
KHAAAAAAAN!
Cyrus the Virus
Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder.
Hannibal Lecter

Yea, Heath Ledger did great as Joker but it wasn’t like I was there smiling while he blew up people.

If you didn’t find humor in him dressed as a nurse, while flinching at the explosion behind him. Your funny bone may not be very undead after all.

It doesn’t escape me that you’re completely ignoring my points about you playing a Forsaken

and enjoying a computer game that’s based on murder.

but someone that likes the Negan character has a “screw loose.”

I play WoW to PvP, I’m not invested or interested in the characters within it.

I’ve heard about Sylvanas destroying Teldrassil though and think that’s evil, I know people like her still just as people like Negan despite his sadistic ways.

If you’re charming, handsome and funny you get a pass, that’s the message I’m gathering.

ROFL thanks for proving my point.

It’s an avatar to compete against others, like in fps games or mobas. What is your point?

If you think it’s the same thing your logic is flawed.

And Jeffrey Dean Morgan does not actually kill people or condone murder (I don’t think.) Negan is just his “avatar”.

Your logic is flawed because when you like murder and stealing in a computer game then that’s ok but if someone likes murder and stealing on TV then they’re crazy.

So you enjoy murder and stealing is what you’re saying?

Yes. The Arnold Predator movie is one of my top five favorite movies and I root for the Predator.

Why do you root for the Predator?
