People who like to be loud who also know their profile makes them look bad will try to hide it because standing out with controversial opinions about certain areas of the game they’ve never actually touched doesn’t lend any merit to their argument.
I’d wager most don’t know that it only disables the easily accessed link and not the actual armory page.
There’s also the issues with people just outright trolling or harassing people on the forums and wanting their posts hidden, but that’s another topic altogether, and it’s easy enough to just use alts for that now that it’s all separated anyway. Can you even hide your posts?
