Yes, I know and understand, and Iām just failing at saying the right thing here. My reply was only to echo that the person you were replying to wasnāt the only one putting out their prejudices into the open, but was not meant to say that you were doing so as well.
It was only meant to air out that there were a number of people airing their prejudices of/towards vulpera players and/or furries in general.

Leaving the label of ādegenerateā asideā¦ you still seem very intent on painting with broad brushstrokes against the entirety of the vulpera playerbase. Is there a reason for this Because honestly, Iām not seeing much of one outside of problems Iāve outlined earlier.

And yes, for the record, she is a vulpera. No, that does not immediately suggest degeneracy.

I think Vulpera are cute and love to pet them even if theyāre my ferocious little enemies. As a basic white woman, itās my duty to pet things that could bite me and do it with excitement and eagerness.
It just boils down to one thing. Treat everyone with the respect they deserve, and only withhold it if thereās valid reason to do so.

Well good for me I havent encountered them ever. But I have the fox people so thats why I hate them.

Because a lot of Vulpera on the forums act all āuwuā about it. Itās weird. Itās creepy. And you can only take so much of it before it gets really annoying.
So people have come to hate the race in spite of the people who play it.

Because they are ugly, they smell, they eat their own babies then use the leftover tails as decorations, they have gross names like āyiffegirlā and āknottboiā, and every time I log in as a Tauren I get whispers from Vulpera asking creepy things like if heād let them lick his hooves etcā¦
Also Iām a hunterā¦ itās a foxā¦ itās just the way things work.

Tauren donāt fit the furry archetype. Despite the new character models giving tauren goofy cartoon faces, Tauren were actually not cartoony with the old models. Someone on the Blizzard art team is obsessed with making things cartoony, though. Even the story writing has lost its badassery and is more like something that can be found on a kids TV station.
I donāt enjoy cartoons so I donāt like playable character races that look like theyāre out of a cartoon, like pandaren and vulpera.
Disagree. The Vulpera are a fully developed race, which isnāt pulled off four NPCs (Void Elves) into a race. You have a story-rich section which goes into detail about their culture.
And they are no simple recolor of another race either. Your problem is that you think āAmericanā with āfurryā in mind, not what your country has achieved in the past with Walt Disney himself and his team. Every good humanoid animal designs originates from the original animators and your own people also ruined it with lust and predatory behavior, while the rest enjoys āfurry hateā so much without ever questioning how much damage this has done to everything.
Yeah Tauren and Worgen tend to get a pass, because they are basicaly Minotaurs and werewolves. They are classic monster tropes, and while in both cases they are designed more āfurryā and less monsterous than in other media they still have that monster basis.
I other words while furrys may like them and gravitate towards them they arnāt designed specificlly as a furry race.
Vulpera are. And when you add in the cartoon child like proportions of Dora the explorer it starts to get very uncomfortable and attract a specific type of person.
Again this isnāt to say all vulpera are like that, but it sure does tarnish the image of the race. And means Vulpera and Tauren are definitly not in the same catagory.
