Maybe when I don’t die to raidwide damage I will stop asking for better defensives. Also, look at the defensives for every other class before trying to defend hunters lack of defensives.
He didn’t know that some pets had lust, and was embarrassed about it. The world is full of these people now - instead of admitting they don’t know something, they pretend they do, then get angry instead of learning.
Feel bad for him. He has no friends and this is how he gets human interaction, even though people hate him for it.
I always ask when im on my hunter,if no response i do first boss and if time the last

i put up lust on first boss if i am doin mythics
If its a lower one i lust whenever but 16+ it’s best to ask

This isn’t about Heroism/Bloodlust/etc., this is about a terrible player with a horrible mindset. Let me guess, he/she was from Illidan.

and if needed on boss 4, its not off cd yet…I as hunter have said dudes…you said lust boss 1. Your call not mine.
They shouldn’t give lust to Hunters.
But nah, they’ll keep stripping Shaman unique abilities. I guess it’ll be Warlock 2.0.
You go right on ahead and keep asking. I’m not defending hunters not having more in the way of defensives, I’m just not expecting anything further. Blizzard barely lets me post on their forums, they’re certainly not going to listen to anything I have to say.

i know some people will say “Aspect of the turtle is a good defensive!”
to me, it’s not.
it’s just a weaker paladin one, it blocks only direct dmg, and prevents you from attacking, while paladins have a bubble, and can be immune, while also attack from said bubble.

My guildies know that as much as I like my DK, there is a really good chance I’m rerolling and maining the 1st tank that has real hero/lust (which should be warrior let’s be real…it’s a dang roar/cry of battle). I am so over people who think they know better than me when I want hero/lust or just feel they don’t need to push the button.
Like I know objectively it happens way more when I want it than not, but the not times stick out far more in my mind and irritate the crap out of me. It is, by far, the most massive group output cooldown and literally makes fights cheesy zergs or prolonged slogs.
to many people always have different times they want its quite easy to say when you want lust or tell someone say when you want lust. idk how many times over the yrs i joined a raid pugging and someone flipping out do you even know when to lust while i tell them well i’ve cleared this boss many times and my guild does it then so whats the problem. idk if its still in game but some person flipped out so bad one day i was like you ever heard of that addon that basically says lust now.
lots of noob hunters that refuse to lust cause “amg muh lone wulf!”
use your brain & go get a dozen lust pets & when you need to lust, call it, send it & abandon it.
legit in SL i had my entire stables full of bees for that purpose.

It’s high io/high ilvl people throwing those low keys half the time because they do +20 level key strats without telling anyone or limit testing their healers.
People at higher levels join low keys thinking its easy then proceed to throw it then temper tantrum when you call em out.
I have had a 340 ilvl warrior with no io out dps a dh with 2k io and 400ish ilvl.
Seriously, it’s a literal gamble nowadays lol

I just had a monk bad mouth me for being on moonguard but when I out dpsed him as an ilvl 398 rogue vs his 410+ ilvl monk, he just called me trash and left the pug raid.
He was also from illidan. Talked mad smack that I was from moonguard and when I asked why he was so mad, he said, I crap you not, “not mad bro, just funny”

If you always want hero on the first boss, get yourself a stack of drums and pop them!
I had some dude berate me for using lust on the Tree boss in AA in a +5. Didn’t seem to understand that we could get 2 lusts if we used it then instead of the 2nd boss. Lust came off cooldown as we pulled the final pack into the hallway. I assume he was just used to doing higher keys where lusting the 2nd boss is a thing and just couldn’t mentally parse the time difference between a high key and a +5.
In lower keys I just lust the 1st boss or 1st trash if the tank pulls big on fortified week. RLP I do like using it for the last boss since that fight is just terrible, but it really depends on the group/week. In higher keys I just ask when they want it. Usually it’s met with silence, in which case no complaints when i decide to use it. Other times it’s usually 1st and last or 1st pull, 2nd boss, last for NOK/HOV.
