Why do people enjoy playing elves?

I play elves because I want to be undead but can’t stand the bones.
Trolls the feet
Orcs, well I don’t know why.
I have a pandaren, and several humans.
I plan on playing a gnome, and a dwarf.

Casting animations and character size are the only reason I’d play BE/VE. There’s a different feel to different races and some elves feel slim/small and makes their actions feel more impactful.

How can you hate dwarves? They’re probably the most likable race in the game, aside from maybe a Tauren…

Dark irons are awesome, regular dwarves are just lame and stupid imo. :man_shrugging:

Because they and their armor/body tupes don’t look bulky, or overly squished/disproportionate like gnomes/goblins. I tend to prefer regal, lithe appearances. More often than not, this winds up being an elf race.

They look good and have nice animations.

You would have a dead game pretty quick… if it ever got off the ground in the first place.

Because in Vanilla, Night Elves were one of the few good looking races. They also had the classes I wanted, so my first two characters were a Night Elf Holy Priest and then a Night Elf BM Hunter (when the Priest was 60, after a couple months.)

Gnomes used to be pretty horrible looking. The first one I could really stand to play was this one, which I thought looked cool as a DK (started it when Wrath arrived.) Then I thought the model improvements REALLY made Gnomes look cool :wink:

They both now went “Tyrande Dark”, which is a look I REALLY like.

Because elves are fabulous and remain young for thousands of years unlike humans, gnomes, dwarves, goblins, tauren, trolls, orcs, worgen, pandas who all age very quickly.

Elves also have a natural affinity for magic and are the most intelligent species making them the absolute best.
