Why do people complain so much that SL is grindy? There is literally only 1-2 activities that you need

Logging on only to raid. How do you not know what “raid logging” means.

It can be when you have alts

TBC and wrath gated dying behind a huge gold wall. Which at least early on the expansion was arguably bigger.

Never happened. You bought the book from the flying trainer in Dalaran. That was it.

Why isn’t relevant. You were wrong.

Clearly that is not happening due to mythic+.
The guilds that are running raids also run mythic+… logic doesn’t check out

You’d be surprised. A whole lot of people have already given up on Mythic+.

The amount of people that had flying accessible to them in TBC was a gate for sure, yes. But even on my dead-end server I was playing on, plenty of people had access to flying. I didn’t have actual access to flying until around MoP >_>;

Wrath was about the same feeling as TBC imo, but it had semi-gated content being flying mounts. Like I said earlier, at least two somebodies had to have a flying mount to do several of the Raids. In addition there was Wintergrasp, a no-fly zone. And it’s not much of a ‘gate’, but Icecrown had plenty of mobs in the sky to ‘deter’ you from flying around them.

Yes, it did happen. Are you stupid or something, and don’t know that Naxxramas is flying in the sky? Or that Ulduar is literally inaccessible unless you’re able to fly?

In addition, your linked source literally states:

" Players have to be level 68 or higher to train this ability. (Prior to [Patch 4.0.1](h ttps://wowwiki.fandom.c om/wiki/Patch_4.0.1), players had to be at level 77 to obtain their first Cold Weather Flying.)"

And don’t try to say that just because it costed 500 or 1,000 gold, it doesn’t count as a gate. It does. And the content was gated behind you having the flying. It does count, don’t try to refute it. A gate is a gate, no matter how miniscule you may think of it these days.

I completely forgot that WoW doesn’t have such a thing as summoning. The only way to get somewhere is by flying.

And Blizzard are such monsters for putting in a max-level-only raid that expects you to have something available to max-level players. I can’t believe those villains would do that! What’s next?! A Level 60 raid that requires you to be Level 60?!

Incidentally, I’ll be honest and say I read the “requirement to do several raids” as “You had to do several raids to unlock it”. You should work on your writing so things aren’t so ambiguous, but I guess that’s why you keep editing so much after people respond to you. By the way, TBC also had raids that were not accessible by ground, so this isn’t Wrath exclusive.

And you continue to ignore the sheer fact that somebody has to have flying to get to the raids. Alright, ignored. Moving on.

And you continue to ignore every other thing you can’t surgically go after and attempt to win via semantics because your argument is awful.

Like you do realize that Blizzard wouldn’t have put a flying raid into the game if you couldn’t fly, right?
…Right?

Where’s the flying-only raid in SL?

Be a man and address everything else I’ve said. Oh, you can’t. Because everything you’ve said is a joke.

Actually you could still warlock summon…
so you didn’t actually need flying.

Jokes on you I guess.

Actually I literally said that.

Jokes on you I guess.

You literally just posted that.
I can’t even with this person.

I literally posted it before the thing you replied to. Scroll up two posts from the thing you clicked reply to.

You can’t even with reality.

Um I replied to the thing above that.
We really don’t this?

I think it boils down to people not feeling rewarded for there time and effort right now. Playing content does not yield much besides a measly amount of Anima. I’ve read that Mythic + dungeons don’t drop gear like they used to so it’s much harder to gear up. Instead, you are given 35 anima which is a very very small amount for a 1 hour dungeon run. Blizzard needs to make it easier to obtain gear and make reward players for their time and effort on content. Right now it just feels lacking in that department.

I wasn’t even responding to you…

No you didn’t. You just edited your post to remove the quote out of embarrassment.

In your haste, you left some weird tagging that quotes someone else you aren’t even responding to anymore.

Awkward…

The difference between the SL grind and the BFA grind is that everything in SL is on a daily/weekly deadline with very little in the way of catchup mechanics.

So you HAVE to do stuff constantly or you fall behind.

Whereas in BFA, you could do stuff basically on your own schedule. If you missed a week, you could just do it the next week instead.

I didn’t do that.
Blizzard did. They’ve been auto Removing quotes lately. Regardless I wasn’t even responding to you.
