Why do people celebrate removing abilities, and making the game easier?

Classic Andys. One mechanic is enough, and two buttons is too much.

I would say make it simple enough for even kids can play it and read each effects.

Yeah bro, when I started playing WoW I was 10 years old. When I was 12 years old, I was leading raids.

They have no excuse, they’re just trained by society to be lazy.

Pikaboo was winning Blizzcons at 12 years old. That was like, 14 years ago. Game is easier now than it was then.

If that was the case then why are people clamoring on the narrative that the classes and or spec are too convoluted? So yeah something doesn’t make sense in that case and also why not simplify the game in the Worldsoul saga and not let others jump on the bandwagon on the convoluted or complicated narrative.

'cause people are horrendously lazy to the point they need someone to smack them.

Because people want a game that isn’t WoW. WoW is 40+ keybinds, WoW is paying attention to the 5+ things happening at once and knowing what to do. There’s plenty of “accessible” mmos out there.

FFXIV, GW2, Albion, Runescape, etc. I donno if ESO counts 'cause it’s really badly designed combat, but it’s certainly not hard.

And that is your problem same as hers wanting the game to not change or to cater to the modern audiences and want the status quo to remain. Yeah that won’t benefit World of Warcraft as a mmo of today gaming environment where people have less time and less playtime due to real life situations. Thank goodness blizzard isn’t caving to the likes of you people.

One of the main reasons people like Classic WoW I thought was cause abilities were simpler.

Bro what in modern rotations is so complicated?

Well, when you get keystone master on your Monk, it will be relevant to bring up when discussing monk gameplay.

Yea, it’s really the only positive of classic really… while it’s nice to go back, it get’s old fast, at least for me.

It’s not like 2k M+ score is hard to get bro. Only reason I don’t have it on my monk is because I haven’t geared it for S4 yet.

So you want to come into our home of 20 years, and rearrange our furniture? Go get your own house.

I’m not claiming it is hard, matter of fact I said nothing about difficulty, but if you are going to talk about it when discussing monk gameplay, you should have the achievement as a monk.

You don’t own any of this property it belong to blizzard. And blizzard is a company and companies want money and in order to do that they need to change World of Warcraft for the modern audiences. If you and her don’t like that there’s the door.

Because Wow used to have a better combat system, used to, focused more on skill. Hense SoD and other versions being more popular almost than live at this point. 1/4 the skills required more passives.
They promissed mass pruning for TWW but we are just getting a little prune.
They haven’t cut anything in a long time just kept adding active skills and wanting people to cope with them being lazy.
They used to cut and replace every expac, then became alter and add. 3-5 skill rotations became up to 12+ skill rotations for some classes, and watching and timing. It drastically changed the combat system. Honestly allowed them to be lazzier on raid mechanisms at cost of faster pace, and immersion.

No one wants a long drawn out rotation, burns people out, ruins the fast pace fealing, from a phycology stand point it creates assembly line sydrom and other such issues.

*Meanwhile all other MMOs have swaped to action combat or moba style limited keys but more player selected passives so they can focus on the actual fight more.

Truth is if you go way back before the lazzy lack of pruning it was a p@##ng contest. Bunch of devs wanted to see who could make the most complex rotations for thier class. To show who must have the better more capable players playing thier class even if it killed that class. Feral Druids, locks, few others pulled ahead on that. Few others on track started pulling back. Devs who left to other companies would talk about it. But thats not keeping the players best interest in mind. Or even good for maintaining player base.

Shorter rotations = less burn out fatigue, faster gameplay, more depth to boss fights, more boss mechanics.
Longer rotations = more burn out fatigue, carpel tunnel issues, people taking breaks from the game. Less boss mechanics, less immersion.
There were tests done to prove all this wow just forged its own path. Other companies paid atn, even most the new upcoming MMOs.

People literally have to use a ton of addons to play their rotations

People use addons because they can’t be bothered to just learn…I use zero addons, but I know what a kick looks/sounds like, what fire on the ground is and how to move from it, LoS abilities…if you need giant flashing icons to do everything, it’s a you problem. Not the game.
