I dislike Night Elves in general, given their archetype and love for nature etc.
However, seeing so many Horde faction loyalists get upset over Night Elves makes me hope Blizzard smothers them with an Elune-themed expansion. There’s nothing more cringe-worthy in this game than the hardcore “FOR THE HORDE” players…and seeing them upset brings me great joy.

Ardenweald isn’t dedicated just to the Night Elves, and not every Night Elf goes to Ardenweald.

Might have had other races but some faction finna burnt muh tree.
Another “Tybrew hates Nelfs” thread is upon us! And I’ll say this much: I didn’t want that zone. It retconned the Emerald Dream, screwed up Elune’s lore and doesn’t make any sense. So I’d be okay if it was deleted.
I’d be okay if all of Shadowlands was deleted.

It’s not for them. The zone is dedicated to the Wild Gods. Other Azeroth nature-centric cultures revere them highly too, like the tauren and trolls.
Aesthetically it’s sort of night elfish, but that’s not what it’s about. It’s to showcase the connection between the Shadowlands and Life and represent the cycle of balance.
What Blood elf lore is there? you are just humans wannabe at this point.

Agreed, Usually I love big forest zones.
I cant stand Ardenweald.
Its design reminds me of a cheap 80s fantasy movie with a worse story.

Oddly enough for as bad as they get treated, Night Elves get a lot of major zone dedication.
Mt. Hyjal was totally about Night Elf lore.
Val’sharah was totally about Night Elves.
BfA had the Darkshore patch.
Ardenweald is very strongly favored toward Night Elves.
