I’m all for letting the random guy jump into a BG and not get completely owned - we all have to start somewhere - but the current system is an aberration. I should be more resistant to attacks in BGs the longer I play.

Why not instill an HP buff based on honor level or something.

The higher the ilvl, the less damage you do to a lower ilvl. And the lower ilvl hits the higher ilvl for more damage.

game director, Ion, was a high level raider attorney who was hired by bliz to work on raid content. He doesn’t care about pvp at all and most of the founders have bailed so there is nobody to balance out his opinion.

Go into a bg with sub 100k hp and face someone with over 300k that will answer your question

Didn’t you just say 400 ilvl is fine for Bgs? You can get that in less than a day. Ofc a fresh 120 is dead meat 3 seasons later, happens every expansion minus Legion.

Sounds exactly like this magical time in PvP gearing called wod. Only we could do that gearing through PvP instead afk wq quests…

This gearing system sucks hard.

You can do that gearing through bgs. World quests make it quicker just like Ashran in wod made it quicker.

What’s your /played at 120? And do you feel gimped even though you have done no mythics?

Don’t listen to him. When he says it doesn’t matter what he means is it doesn’t matter as much as the mythic crowd wants. It still matters a lot. You will still get facerolled by mythic geared people in BGs.
