Why do Horde races want to be in the horde?

speaking as a leftie who would ordinarily be tickled pink by a WoW quest where the characters beat up a Trumplica, I also think that idea is horribly, horribly cringe.

WoW is not the place for stuff like that.

In trying to make Anduin the opposite of ‘Toxic Masculinity’, they have only ended up creating ‘Toxic Good’, where a character exists only serve as a moral litmus test for everyone else- those that agree with him are always good/right, those that disagree are always bad/wrong. The only times he himself is wrong is because the world has disappointed him with it’s flaws, and we’re meant to be sad along with him and cheer him on as he moves to remove those flaws (“The House of Nobles is suddenly uncorrupt; Anduin straightened all that out off-screen.”). He becomes less a character and more the writer’s moral mouthpiece, a walking ‘WWJD’? meme.
