I played a lot of trolls because I adore their history. They’re one of the only natural born, native to azeroth, playable races in the game. If I wasn’t already subscribed when BFA was announced, I’d have re-subbed instantly to prepare myself for Zandalar.
I played a Belf paladin because I was horde and wanted to be a paladin and that was the option.
I love gnomes/mechagnomes, I particularly love Mechagnomes because of their story and I’ve got a softspot for anything that flirts with steam/diesel punk aesthetics.
I’m probably going to end up maining a vulpera in SL because the ingame representation of their character (up beat, optimistic, resourceful) reflects what I strive to be in real life and ‘being’ one in game makes me feel good.
More often than not, lore and ‘feel’ matters to me. Sometimes class gets in the way. I really love druid, luckily I love trolls, but because vulpera can’t be druids, I probably won’t main druid in SL unless something amazing happens to them that makes it just unbearable to not be one.
