Except Tauren have had issues with doors for years, and that hasn’t stopped them from being in the game…since vanilla. And of course all those vrykul in Northrend had this amazing, revolutionary concept: taller doorways.
The same could have been done for any subsequent race that was taller (hint, hint…ogres) for their starting and racial areas.
Instead, they went with the opposite problem: they retconned the playable kul tirans onto ones that will have problems fitting through the doorways if they turn sideways. I guess mages could just blink through to the respective auctions houses…but the rest of use will be stuck outside.
Still, not going to hold it against people who want to play one…the rest of us just want the other option available. The one that’s currently in game, with all the work done, that just needs the switch flipped to made playable.
People keep mentioning that they’re fat, but aside from that they’re significantly taller than regular eastern kingdom humans. I tried to learn the lore behind Kul Tirans, but got nowhere when it comes to learning why they’re so much taller than regular humans.
I wouldn’t even really say they’re human, they’re humanoids that just look human, imo.
Good luck with that one. Like so many of their poorly thought out retcons, this was one that the lore reason is so thin (pun intended) if you looked at it sideways you wouldn’t see it.
Again, if people want to play one…cool. If you like them, same. The rest of us just want the other option that is already running around Kul Tiras and just needs the switch thrown to be made playable.

We get fat humans to make fun of us, we get not one, but TWO onion quests to make fun of us. We get MORE HORSE MOUNTS.
And worse, they just don’t care about the Alliance. Horde get initial creative money and the “b” team, so more time/money/creativity is spent on the horde. The Alliance has to be written with whatever’s left and is reactionary to the horde storyline.

I think the real ptoblems behind the kt humans mainly the women. Is the models lack the musculer skin textures to look good well also having bad overall proportions.
There are fan edits out there changed ever so slightly to look good.
And really if the characters are suppose to be body builder like. They fail. Blizz you have zenya from overwatch. You have a good base model to go off. Use it.
Honestly, if the other model was available…you’d see nearly all of the criticisms disappear.

…except the other model available for Kul Tirans for some reason. The one that’s actually existed for more than five seconds in the lore. All the work is done for them, literally just need to flip a switch to make it playable.
The guys are fine and fit the fantasy of playing a strong fat guy that the alliance was desperately missing. There is literally no defense for the female model tho.
