That’s why I said it was your source, not your article. I mean, You don’t think this whole time when I’ve been referring to “my sources” that I’m actually the CDC or the HHS, do you?
“Forced” is pretty strong language. You made the claim that researched and vetted sources were spirrious because of some personal issues with them, and failed to provide any real issues with them besides “guberment bad.” I then asked you to provide any kind of credible source supporting your position and/or refuting mine, and you finally offered a link by officially recognized and respected source (and you were worried for nothing on that one!) that give some cautious optimism…buts says there isn’t enough long term data to actually support what you guys are pushing.
The burden is on you to prove they are manipulated. Otherwise, you are making an unsubstantiated claim. If I had made the claim “fats are bad, common knowledge” you would have rightly insisted I provide evidence to support my position. If I had doubled down with “do your own research” when you pressed me on the subject," you would have rightly been able to point out that that’s not how debate works. If I had then went “well, I’m not interested in this topic” you could rightly point out for someone who isn’t all that interested…I arguing my side without providing sources to back it up.
See what I did there?
Imagine how angry people get when they find out that news hit pieces are done like that all the time with little to no evidence, and can win major awards when in fact the entire story is a complete and utter lie. For example, the “Pacific Garbage Patch” win a Pulitzer for it’s breathless account of a real, massive island sized land mass of garbage that many people actually believe exists and you can physically see from the air and from even space. Imagine their surprise to learn the truth, while still a significant problem, was not the sensational and massively overblown “land mass you could see from space!” story they had been told for years.
Journalists, like everyone else in business, are also there to make money. Sensational stories attract an audience, boost ratings, and thus, gain more money for their parent company. Take a look at who owns the various media outlets, and it isn’t hard to connect the dots.
The days of a free press holding people accountable are long gone. Look no further than how majors game/movies are reviewed by major media outlets to see how much the “press” pulls its punches in order to keep getting its access to the corporate goodies.
Wanobi. Just go play the game or something man. The burden is on you to prove your sources are credible tbh I’m some random rogue on the internet. I could care less that you believe you somehow know what you’re talking about.
The fact that you actively dodged the main point we were originally flabbergasted about is really telling. Do moar research and then get back to us.
Nothing was “dodged” like the sources you keep handwaving…you just didn’t like the answer. A bit like how you keep cherry picking out sentences you don’t like, even from the source you provided!
No, you are the one making the claim (they are not credible). The burden is now on you to prove that claim. Nice try though!
There’s a big (pun intended) difference between a “big brawlin’ sailor” and someone who is on the verge of having a heart attack because they are seriously overweight. The normal looking Kul Tirans are clearly the elite naval force The Alliance was looking to recruit in their fight to save Azeroth.
These other guys? Well, if The Alliance wanted to play the long game by trying to introduce diabetes to the other side…
Then clearly you can’t prove your point…and we’re left with “guberment bad” as the only “proof” you can offer they aren’t credible. Sounds like you’re the one making
Still waiting for you to explain the giant holes in that story from earlier though.
You made a claim that high fat diets lead to obesity. It’s like you didn’t even read the article I linked about how eating little to no carbs and a higher amount of fat forces your body to produce ketones, which burn fat. But you mention something about it:
So are you second guessing your original claim or what. That’s what the keto diet is, 70-80% fat instead of the atkins diet which is more focused on protein. Can you please do some more reading before claiming we didn’t do any ourselves?
You sound like one of those people who argue on Facebook and expect it to actually help anything at all. I guess science isn’t for everyone.
After piecing together everything you’ve stated I simply am led to believe that no matter what you cannot handle or accept being wrong. That’s the number one problem people run into with science. Do more research instead of arguing on here, is my suggestion.
Says the guy who won’t source or back up nearly anything he says with actual sources (with one exception). The irony there is amazing.
Let’s see, you want to push pseudo medical nonsense that has very little actual science backing it, government conspiracy theories, and fad diets. Like the other guy, you left the best self rebuttal:
Like everything else, you can’t provide much, if any support for your position, when you tell even an anecdotal story, it contradicts your narrative and you retreat when presented with actual evidence…but not before pulling off a tin foil hat move.
I play just to play. I usually play anything. The female is just plain off on them. Armour got a weird effect. That tends to put me off on them. Plus movement for both is weird. Most can not see it. Just not in sink. it started bugging me.,
No one is saying that people who enjoy playing their version of the Kul Tirans can’t.
Those of us who would actually like to play the ones represented in the lore since wc came out, and the ones represented by major lore characters would like the option to play the models already in the game…but not available to players (because reasons).
