However, she broaches the idea of the Blood Elves joining the Alliance

Wow, talk about bad timing. Silgrym and Liadrin talking about the Nightborn issues had to bring up a lot of old feelings and memories regarding the Blood Elves dealing with Kael'thas and the fel addiction and joining the Horde.
And a certain female mage slaughtering her people in the streets of Dalaran.
Tyrande is a racist piece of !@#$, that's why.
There's not much reason for any new allied races to fight for the horde or alliance.

But it is clear why each new allied races made their choice. Most often it's simply because there's people in that faction that looks like them.
The Nightborne couldn’t join the alliance even if they wanted to. The Alliance has made it pretty clear that they don’t want them. They view the Nightborne as a twisted perversion of their former selves. Just like the blood elves that betrayed the Alliance because of their lust for power and addiction to magic/the sun well. The Nightborne as basically the same, and because of that Lor’themar and Liadrin showed simpathy and understanding while the alliance showed bitterness and hate.

So when we get playable Ogres it will be easier to bash all their heads.

What is with people and playable ogres? I don't see the appeal.

Better then keep adding elf for the sake of adding, just look at Void elf, if wasn't for alliance whining about wanting high elf, there wont be Void elf...
I don't get the appeal in how people want to flood a faction based game with neutral races.

There is no good reason for them to join Horde, they should be neutral.

No. No more neutral races.
Because the Blood Elves and the Nightborne are bros. The Night Elves are just jerks.
1: tyrande felt the nightborne died when they erected the barrier during the war of the ancients. She wasn't there for them, she was there for the pillar of creation and to stop gul'dan. If it were not for either of those things, tyrande, and the alliance, wouldn't be there.
2. Tyrande and the Alliance would have refused them. I'm not sure how the politics work for accepting allies, but they have no reason to trust the nightborn, especially when seeing her get cozy with the horde.
3. Nightborn have fewer reasons to join the alliance than the horde. They have little to nothing in common with the nightelves. It would likely be school children bickering if they ever saw eachother again. None of the races really have a magical culture. Only blood elves do,
4. Because tyrande refuses them, it would cause a rift in the alliance, a rift that is risky and can cause civil wars.
5. I think tyrande actually wanted to reclaim Suramar for the night elves, she wants them all to die. Makes it simpler to turn the city into a new druid hub or whatever.

they joined the Blood Elves, to be honest. It's just that the Belfs are in the Horde.

also, as a reminder, you alliance players got exalted with the Nightborn as the leader of your respective Class Hall.

The first real taste that the NBelfs got of the Alliance was Tyrande being a complete tool toward them.

Deal with it.

Deal with it? With what? I'm already Horde. I really wanna roll Shal'dorei, but I don't like killing the Alliance just cause ya know haha bfa ahahaha!

a orc warrior who doesn't want to fight..... is this the true meaning of a oxymoron?

Because the Alliance helped liberate Suramar to defeat the Legion, and showed absolutely no interest beyond that alone in the Nightborne's plight. This is made evident by Tyrande's spoken opinion of them, as well as the fact that the Alliance players present in the campaign represent their class order, and not their faction, while adventuring in Legion.

Lady Liadrin, on the other hand, who represents the Horde initiative in Suramar, shows empathy and support for the Nightborne throughout the campaign, seeing as they've lived their lives similarly to how Blood Elves had (Dealing with a corrupt leader, loss of a necessary fount of power to sustain themselves).

[ SPOILERS AHEAD ]

In addition to this, while Thalyssra is invited into Silvermoon City, Alleria Windrunner also happens to visit the city. Initially, she's given full permission, as she is a high elf and was born in Quel'Danas, so it's her land as much as it is any other Sin'dorei. However, she broaches the idea of the Blood Elves joining the Alliance, and this sparks some argument between her and Lor'themar. Following that, matters turn to the worst, as they visit the Sunwell and an odd void-related incident occurs, which threatens to corrupt the Sunwell. Once it's dealt with, Lor'themar declares her a threat to the city and their sacred fount of power, and demands that she leave immediately.

Certainly doesn't help the idea of the Nightborne joining the Alliance.

This all happens in the pre-patch, or first patch, of BfA.

This is the most adequate and non biased answer.
I'm sure this thread will turn into a productive discussion.

What kind of an Orc are you? You from the flower power clan? Seriously, I can't stand Horde and Alliance players like you who down play the faction war between the Horde and Alliance.

Go play Guild Wars 2 and leave the WAR in Warcraft alone.

Have to agree with everyone here, you're a terrible excuse of an orc.

Don't listem to them. An Orc like you was Warchief and the most important character in the game for a long time.

Don't be another custom Orc!

It was a night-elf druid who protected their mana tree and told them how to care for it so that it could grow. He was singlehandedly responsible for the salvation of their entire race.

Yeah... that was an Alliance dude.

Seriously! How the f$%@ do you Horde keep forgetting that?!
