Nobody ever brags about only getting a 3 star meal.
It is nice that Erevine acknowledges that the Alliance is only being served sub-par sustenance too.

my favorite food is anything Italian most of the time. High class pasta, a Tiramisu and an aged red wine. That is my perfect evening dream.
Horde meal: Slapped together brown bag meal with budget white bread and baloney sandwich and occasional inexplicably great side dish (Undermine)
Alliance meal: Off hour meal at a buffet that isn’t even all that good at it’s peak. You get far more food but nobody ever gets exactly what they want, and it’s all kind of bland and tastes the same
