No, seriously.

An entire playable race put to both the torch and blade. And for what?

Night Elf toon players were told that justice would be eventually found.

Really?

By all means, where is this justice, Blizzard?

Because you are the ones at the story controls, not your customers.

Teldrassil burned so that you could claim shock value. And… well, that’s pretty much it.

So…

How would you handle this if it had been the Orcs, Blizzard?

No, I’m not saying it was…

Here’s a thought though…

Could it have ever been?

Letting Teldrassil be damaged yet remain and still have at least some NE’s alive and able to live there still and rebuild would have been a better solution.

Instead…

And entire playable race is now considered, “Just you.”

My NE in game is not supposed to see any other if they do.

How is that sane?

I don’t either which is why I’ll be gone once my sub runs out. I had hoped 9.2 might be decent, but it is just more bad story telling along with poor design and timegating. The writing is on the wall and it is time to bow out…

This is entirely against all that Elune has ever been written to be in the prior lore.

I will need to look this up specifically, however I thought it was some twitter post where the fans figured that the word, “Genocide,” means that each player is the last of the race.

And, if each player is the last of their race…?

The total number of NE’s is never higher than one.

Yes, it’s not Blizzard that claimed this outlook.

However, have they ever done anything to try and refute it?

Shadowlands lore was already in stone by the end of Legion per Ogmot’s Dream Journal

Today smoke rises up from da campfire. Smoke tells Ogmot good story.

Ogmot sees lady wrapped in dark swirlies. She leads herd of blind sheep.

Da sheepies follow her everplace she go. Do everthin she say. Never doubt lady.

She guide dem over tall cliff! SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT! Stupid sheepies!

Da crows get fat eatin da sheepflesh. Da lady laugh as crows eat!

Ogmot laugh too!

Since Vol’jin is dead, I proclaim myself leader of the Darkspear Trolls and if blizzard doesn’t personally refute my claim then it becomes part of the lore.
