I have no interest whatsoever in cod or it’s various offshoots, yet I found 1 day that it was showing up on my comp, and the launcher kept calling for me to auto update it, in fact, even after deleting cod, it’s still trying to push updates for it… anyone have any idea why that is?
Other Activision-Blizzard games appear on the launcher but they’re not installed unless someone installs them.
Are you sure someone else hasn’t installed the game when you weren’t using the computer?
Are you certain the game is actually installed? The presence of an icon and launch page for the game in the launcher doesn’t mean the game is installed.
FWIW, if you have an issue, it’s not with WoW, but rather with the Battle.net desktop launcher app, which has its own support forum.

If you mean for Modern Warfare 2, it was an add for the pre-purchase you most likely saw. Not an install.
