Eh, again the ultimate contradiction between Retail and Classic - convenience/efficiency vs community/world.
On its own I don’t mind battlegroups but on the other side a lot of similar small “innocent” conveniences are what turned wow in what it is today.
I could agree with the first negative point, but I don’t think this is legit.
BGs would still be a personal experience because you can still only group queue with players on your realm.
The numbers are made up to prove a simple point. Most people realize this so I won’t even continue arguing it. You are just trolling me I think. Most people understand a larger player pool makes it impossible to have real rivals or to know your competition in the same way.
I asked if you played because you pretended as if the negatives aren’t obvious. Most people admit this. it isn’t disputed by most.
PVP rivalries easily trump queue times for me. I will always gladly wait for a good game. CRBG contributed significantly to the careless way people would discard a match if it wasn’t going their way or generally wasn’t going to end fast enough for them. They simply gave up, took the loss, and re-queued. No to CRBG.
I did have one account get banned. I don’t have to prove anything to you, I was just talking to you. I am being honest but you are being argumentative and contrary.
Done here. Continue as usual, trolling and being trolled, being argumentative and hateful, etc. Contrary af…
Me too, there isn’t that much bonding in BG’s anyway. The opposing faction is quite faceless there anyway. I didn’t feel anything compared to other xrealm features that came later when xrealm bg’s hit vanilla. I was glad about the change.
That’s fine, not all people in fact it seems like most people would rather have quick queues than see the same faces.
That said I’d be totally fine with blizzard adding a same realm only queue option for those who seem to like it so much.
Well I mostly only twinked at 49’s and whether it was xrealms or not, the “community” aspect was actually bigger with xrealm. I ended up fighting the same twinks very often whereas before that I’d rarely see the same names.
While I’m sure its different at max level, twinks however(unless you were in the 19’s or 29’s which always have bigger numbers) would just be forced to wait a WAY longer time for zero gain. So my stance on this is completely biased, xrealm only helps me in every way possible.
Personally, I am okay with this one.
Again, cross-realm BG is one of convenience features that Blizzard has applied to wow over the years; some of these features are good and some are bad, but even the “good one” here has some haters and even “bad ones” have some lovers.
The point is, if many people want this feature on this forum and it subsequently gets added to the game, where does it end? How many people are needed to sign up for a non-vanilla feature for it to be on vanilla servers?
Unless real statistics show that an overwhelming high ratio of players want this, I feel it is overall best for the community to have the vanilla servers remain vanilla (to the best of Blizzard’s ability of course)…
Numbers aside it still disregards my point. Just because you can’t keep track of names from other servers doesn’t mean others can’t.
Again maybe this is true for you this wasn’t true for me so I’m sure there are other people who agree. There were whole guilds on other servers I had rivalries with. Enough so that when I decided to leave my server I joined theirs and we became friends. I’m sorry you can only handle so many faces
Oh so when you ask a question because you think the answer is obvious it’s just a question but when I do the same it’s an insult. Gotcha. Lol JFC
Aww did I hurt your feelings
Oh man how did I miss this post lol. Of course you did sweetie.
And ya you’re being honest, Mr. multi glad
Blizzard won’t want to hear about people complaining they can’t find bgs so they will just add crbgs to save any problems.
First off, I’m glad you like the idea. Just remember CRBG are vanilla. I know some players don’t want them because they like to think the end of vanilla doesn’t count for some reason, and anything they don’t like is inherently “less vanilla” like 1.12 AV for instance. It’s not what alot of people wanted, but it’s still vanilla. I feel like CRBG are in the same boat as AV.
Same server BGs won’t happen if the server population is low or horrendously imbalanced.
You missed that post just like you did vanilla wow. Probably a wrath baby…
Oh no what a massive insult! I’m sorry I called you on your bs about being a glad I know it upset you.
Maybe one day you’ll get it.
I played on a low pop WoW server. I remember on Weekends with cross-realm BGs I could PVP all day without worrying about queue times, which was pretty nice.
How does this “destroy” the community aspect of pvp? Battle grounds were never the community aspect of pvp thats what world pvp is for buddy. Plus all they would have to do is simply release cross realm later just as they did in vanilla. # NO CHANGES lets not forget.
I agree Blizzard is a multi million dollar company i am pretty sure they will find a nice middle ground. Even if its dynamic CR for each server depending if they do happen to have a nice even pop where there can be server only games a good amount of the time.
I really don’t see why this is such an issue, I mean, let’s be honest with ourselves, there aren’t going to be many servers in the first place. I expect MAYBE 3-5 Per type, possibly less for the niche server types (RP/RP-PvP) No way there will be more than one battlegroup. So odds are you will be recognized if you’re good throughout the entire classic playerbase.
