Why complain about the grind?

the nazjatar dailies at one point took me 5 hours to do when it still was kill 3 rares

Some folks (kids?) just like to stir the pot.

Because maybe people want to log in and have the freedom to have fun by choosing what to do rather than being forced and stuck in this grind. Most people want to have flying and consider it almost necessary, most people are going to want to unlock allied races and consider it almost necessary
especially if coming back into the game and there’s all this stuff to get to just to reach a point where you can start having options to do what you want to do. What the f is that.

The OP is just looking for an excuse to bash on people who dislike how Blizzard handled Pathfinder. He’s going to ignore any sarcasm or joking so long as it lets him be do nothing more than be a forum troll.

That’s what this entire thread boils down to, the OP is trying to be a troll by “bragging” about how easy it was and how people who aren’t at his level are obviously losers and incompetent.

Yeah
you are. I’m human and do all the normal quests every day (not pet battles or hunting every rare) and I’m only at like 8/12k. So you obviously went out of your way to do all the pvp events or whatever.

well, firstly congrats. i’ll be working on mine after midsummer event ends.

most of the avenues for advancement in the game of late has been one way or the highway. feels like too much gate keeping by the control freaks that have a huge representation in the tech industry, reminiscent of revenge of the nerds

The dude is straight up lying lol. He 100% went out of his way. Because iv’e kept on everything and im still about 1-2 days away from flying

The players who have only done the zo e quests and WQs and killed maybe 5+ rares a day are ALL still days away from flying. The people who looked up guides and did extra stuff have it now. Its whatever. The thing im annoyed about is some ppl kept the “extra” activities hidden ao others wouldnt know about it and are now bragging about having flying

I don’t see much of a point in grinding something that Ive earned time and time again over the years. Moving the goal post isn’t content it’s a lazy artificial wall to slow players down in doing something that is already considered mundane and monotonous. The only thing I look forward to is raiding and mythic plus.

I love the absolute hate over this. People complaining because they dont have it. Its not my fault or blizzarda fault you dont have it, its your own.

There is ample websites available to help you with the journey, use them. And yes if you just did what you had to do everyday, and figured out how and what those things were, you’d have it too.

I don’t know why you think this was hidden info, it has been out on wowhead for months. Personally I have done my dailies every day, killed rare mobs when I could, and dusted off the old fishing pole and yeah, I should have it today or tomorrow. It’s not that tough of a sink considering in Legion, we were gated for weeks.

QFT. Probably 90% of the playerbase are allready flying. Just a vocal minority whining about it. Blizz put a great system in with pathfinder that works for everyone.

Agreed. I mean, yeah it was gated for a year. But the content you had to do to get it was trivial.

And seriously, who cares it was gated a year? It allows us to immerse ourselves in the content before we can skip over it all with flying. I get why they do it, and dont have a problem with it.

Eh I do miss being able to buy flying not going to lie, but definitely this is much simpler than WoD or Legion with pathfinder.

It comes down to the time sinks, it truly bothers me that people who play casually now expect to be rewarded just for logging in. These are the same people who are excited for Classic too. We shall see how they feel when that launches, I bought stock in a popcorn company just for the forum reads.

Lol people excited for classic and are complaining about grinds
have no idea what they are in for.

Hope they enjoy MONTHS of gameplay to get to 60. Then countless weeks of farming to get maybe one good item. Lol

Yes because before time gating people did nothing but complain about the lack of things to do.

Let me do the translation for people who have a hard time understanding people like you.

I just dont understand it. Exactly 1 week after launch, doing nothing but several hours of world quests and hunting rares, along with pet battles, i have pathfinder 2. All you have to do is play for several hours each and every day, doing the same stuff. I don’t think that’s grindy at all. But I was going to be playing for several hours anyway.

Lmao this post.

Hey guys, I did nothing extraordinary.

Except dailies and world quests.

Oh also fishing dailies.

Oh also all the rares in every square acre.

Oh also more fishing.

Oh also every pet battle from here to Strangethorn Vale.

Oh I was just sitting playing wow for 5 hours every day since 8.2.

Did I tell you I did some fishing?

I also have a fishing trip planned this weekend with my uncle.

On Sunday, I am planning to fish more in Mechagon.

Have you guys seen my fishing hat somewhere?

There was no grind? You literally do what you are “supposed” to be doing each day, and you have it.

I did a few pet battles. I hate them, and i dont have good pets. The dailies took no time at all if you understand how the maps work and use your flight whistle. And kill rares if you come accross them, no need go farm them.

Seriously, i think its hilarious the people that think its a grind
