No, Dragon Riding should be added into the old world. If Soar works there, obviously the coding is compatible, so what’s the valid reason not to do that? It would be more fun that way.

Now you’re basically catching up to where we got to in the conversation. Maybe you should start with solutions you would like instead of griping and moaning. I doubt Blizzard will ever see anything but the griping and you won’t get anything close to what you want because of it.

I suspect on some level they want this but then there is the issue where most other mounts become obsolete. They are stuck between sticking with the old system and updating hundreds of mounts to support the new mechanic. And then there is the issue you pointed out of how this would work with the flat terrain in the wider game.
