This is a true story I have been playing some ESO lately. I decided to try some dungeons. I have stayed away from them because of the toxic players I have seen abundant in wow. Apparently we were in a newer DLC dungeon that had mechanics that I (and the others) were unaware of. We wiped once and I thought “here we go”. But nobody blamed anyone or raged or swore.

After 4 attempts we fricken TALKED IT OUT. Like adults. People were patient and communicated. Nobody quit or dropped. We just figured it out and eventually survived it.

It was amazing it was completely unlike my wow experiences the last few years. It was actually fun. Fun in a dungeon. The loot didn’t matter or some achievement. Its was fun to work together to figure out a problem.

I had planned on maining enhancement in BFA. It never happened. :frowning: You had no idea what they were planning on changing the class into, if they ever did, which they never did, so the not knowing how it would work turned me away from it.

The little they are changing and adding in 8.1 is not enough to get me to resub. Not even close. From what I’ve seen of 8.2 it isn’t either. Really this whole expansion is a dumpster fire that I don’t believe can be put out. Maybe blizz will get a clue and get it together for the next expansion. I’m having a lot of fun in other games though, may not be interested in coming back even to try out Classic.

Idk when more story is going to be released but that’s what I’m hanging out for.

I’m probably not helping with the over-arching problem here, but even though I play way less than I used too I still keep my subscription active.

I can’t forsee myself ever changing it either. So even if the content were to come out in Feb I would still be sub’d till then and beyond. /shrug

My personal opinion on the matter is this: I can’t see the game getting any better if everyone yanks their subs in protest. The less income they have, the less resources they have to fix the glaring problems wrong with the current state of the game. :sweat_smile:

Waiting for new allied races is a double edged sword as they’ll likely be tied to some grind we’ll want to do ahead of time because of the trash allied race unlock system

Yea letting my sub expire and might come back on Jan 29 (when LFR starts up).

Nothing much in the new patch other than the new warfront.
LFR doesnt start until Jan 29…

Ok I have a thought. BFA seems to be following the formula of Legion. With this I’d expect some sort of Mage Tower type challenge with some special transmog or something for the successful conclusion.

Regardless if you thought the transmogs from The Mage Tower were cool or not, we don’t really know what is ahead. I’d wager there is something on the horizon.

Since this is only available for a limited time, it would behoove players to keep their characters current so when it becomes available, more time can be spent learning and beating the challenge rather than leveling the classes you wish for the transmogs.

Just a thought.

If The art style says alot even the limited time only mog would suck vs artifact skins got a deep feeling they are going to look horrible.
