For real, I’m a dragon and just want to floating around AFK looking cool around the Stormwind fountain.
Or not ride a dragon as a dragon, because that’s awkward.
Even a Druid can do this, but us legendary mythical dragons can’t?

Because then everybody else would cry about it.
I made an evoker just for that reason thinking that I’d be able to fly around as a dragon. Then after researching on google I’ve found out that I’ve been bamboozled.

Being half dragon- keywords HALF DRAGON though it is diluted we ARE dragons… The only reason Dracthyr consider ourselves seperate from dragons is not only do we have issues with dragons (see blues) but we also want our independence from then

I mean a centaur is essentially 90% of a horse with a Human added on top. A centaur is part horse, Dracthyr are part dragon.
Yet this argument should not even be happening to begin with because whether they are dragons or not should not effect using their own wings for flying.

You know whats ironic? Drscthyrs were originally supposed to have a free flight racial skill. But it seems to have been scrapped in favor of Soar.
On pre patch i was able to experience what would have been normal flight for dracthyrs thanks to a latency spike that hit me just as i was getting of my flying mount, i quickly recorded it and posted on Reddit so people could see what could have been

that is not true as its stated during Dragon keep siege " lets show them that we dragons bring the heat" so in fact even game considers evokers dragons.

It’s disappointed me since day 1 that Dracthyr can’t fly as a mount. I remember the Alliance boat ride to Dragon Isles where the Dracthyr complained that they would have preferred flying to the Isle. I see NPCs throughout the expansion having that flying freedom. It’s frequently suggested and showed that the race has the capability. However, players get stuck with it being a crappy ability of Soar. I use Red Flying Cloud as my mount since it’s the most compatible looking mount to Evokers I’ve found so far

Are you daft or just trying to be edgy? They in fact cannot fly, they can glide. If they could fly this post wouldn’t exist. Maybe get off the forums and crack a book on reading comprehension.

We have the same fly mechanic as dragons that we can use in more locations, so that’s a bonus, but being able to fly around on command would be amazing.
