I doubt it would be much different than how it is now. Toxic people will always be toxic regardless of what faction you’re on. Mature people we always be mature regardless of faction. As long as it doesn’t work in BGs or when war mode is enabled the only people being toxic will be the people who are like that to everyone anyways.

I’ve played League of Legends with all chat on.

Trust me, letting you talk to the opposing side in a pvp game is a recipe for disaster.

It simply wouldn’t work if you had war mode enabled and in BGs. I thought that was obvious.

Probably so people don’t complain when people from opposing factions start insulting each other.

I’d like it to change though, esp. now since we can ignore people.

DH’s can talk cross faction. We all should be able to.

They could change it so people in bg’s and arenas can’t. Warmode would be fine.

Again, as long as this was only enabled outside of PVP it would be the same as talking to someone on your own faction. Just another player. Only the immature would be toxic simply because someone is playing the other faction. Doesn’t make any sense.

Yeah I think war mode as well even. That way no one can gank and then insult. Only people who are not looking to play competitively would have this option.

The real reason is they need to keep ganking victims from finding out that their attackers have the emotional maturity of a toddler.

Yes but if it only worked when War mode was off then someone would need to kill you and then go all the way back to their capital to turn it off and then come find you again to say what they were gonna say lol

That sounds like a sequence of events that couldn’t happen. If you’re both in warmode and one kills the other, and one of you leaves warmode, you will never see each other. If you both leave warmode, the two of you may very well be in different shards. Or the timing of finding a rested area for the two of you would mean you’d never find each other.

And then there’s Chromie time. At level 50 a player immediately is removed from the timewalking phase, which means a character with end game gear can never gank a player using Chromie time.

Exactly. It would be impossible to be trash talking and actually PvPing at the same time.

Yeah but they aren’t our mortal enemies anymore now that we can have more than one faction per server. We all play for both teams lol talking to them would be the same as talking to someone on your own faction except for the fact that when you queue into PVP you can fight them. But obviously you couldn’t talk in PvP.
