The system we have today gave me some perspective and tbh I don’t even know if I really agree with the old system anymore. I don’t think it’s fair for someone to have to endure the equivilent of “hazing” in WoW just to participate in something. Whereas the previous system basically meant you had to go in, get beaten up a bunch of times while you slowly gained your honor gear. I don’t even think that should be a thing anymore.
Ding max, queue PvP, have fun. That’s how it should be imo.
But eh, your suggestion? It’s better than nothing. If my hand was forced, I’d take that over what we have now.
