I love the Warband Banking feature and find it extremely useful, but I am shocked that I cannot use the gold I have stashed in it to purchase a game time token off the Auction House.
Annoyingly enough, even if I could access my Warband Bank from a character while my subscription is expired, there’s several other issues that impact my ability to use in-game gold to reup my subscription. Understandably, when your subscription is expired, your account is set to “Trial Account” mode which limits the amount of gold you can have on a character. In addition, you cannot access the Auction House or send mail while playing on a “Trial Account.”
I’m just surprised and a little annoyed that I can’t touch anything in my Warband Bank under my current circumstances. I would love to see this changed in the future, although it likely won’t be an issue for me again as I’ve learned my lesson.
Lesson: Warband Bank = Awesome Feature, but does not beat a level 1 Bank Alt
Before anybody says to “just pay the $15” to reup my subscription, not to get too personal, but my wife and I have suffered a significant loss, and unexpected medical and funeral costs associated with it has severely limited our financial situation for the last six weeks.
