Why can't they recreate zones like WOTLK?

Back in Wrath I played on a pretty crappy PC over ISDN internet, and I had my graphics settings set so low that I couldn’t see Naxxramas when on the ground right underneath it. Same with Dalaran. It was a huge revelation when I came back to the zone with a decent PC and internet and I could see the vistas.

This was me as well. I had my view distance set to low and was still barely getting 20 FPS, and I had no idea Naxxramas was floating there outside Wintergarde Keep until I got a “gaming laptop” later into Wrath.
