I know. That’s why I LEFT my failing key that wouldn’t time, and joined someone else’s +5 key, that got timed.
This whole thread is that I had no reason to stay IN MY OWN KEY after I realized it wouldn’t time

That the point is pointless.
Except there is reason to stay.
I pug a lot and next to never run my own keys since I save them for my regular group runs on Sundays. Not timing a dungeon isn’t the end of the world and failing can be a better gift than success. Failing and making mistakes gives you the chance to learn from those mistakes and improve as a player. Success can do this too, but more often than not success can trick people into thinking what they did was right.
What’s that? I never see drops at the end, so I don’t count on it. These people had 0 clue I don’t know how long we would have been wiping on that boss, the low chance of loot at the end certainly was NOT worth staying for.
my point still stands lol
I never said it didn’t stand.
There is a 40% chance to get a drop. Sure if you only do 1 run, that isn’t the best odds, but it’s almost certain if you run enough keys to fill out 2 vaults that you are getting 1-2 drops. In addition to your vault item.
It’s also a very smart idea having at least 2 vaults to give you a much better chance at getting a useful piece to turn into tier or not picking your legendary slot.
Because it was not your key that was inserted into the Font of Power. It’s that simple.
At ilvl 248, you had a reason : getting gear upgrades.
I kinda just wish you could destroy your own keystone and loot another one. If your afraid of abuse, just make it lock to the last dungeon you had.
Time a key of the same or higher level and you can exchange it with an NPC.
Oh, I didn’t know that. Thanks.
I agree, key depletion is unnecessary.
