Honestly just turn around and kill the pet if it is bugging you.

Or we can just fix the game where pets can’t follow you past 40 yards. Lets make the game better instead of defending something that is bad design for PvP.

If you communicate with your companions, someone leads the main damage component of the BM or SV hunter out of range, they are severely gimped and easy fodder for the kill.

This is a terrible solution to something that’s barely a problem. When the pet is 40 yards + away from the hunter then it’s almost useless. Turn around and 1-2 shot it.

Actually any pet that can go 40+ yards away from the owner is a problem. It always has been a problem. It should be fixed. This goes for Locks too. All Pets.

So something that has been in the game for 15+ years is a problem? You seem to have a problem with several core mechanics of WoW. I think a nice turn based strategy game may be more your speed.
