not complaining. just making a suggestion. if you can see I wrote this thread with a classic toon. so it is obvious that I am playing classic.

it has been referred to retail for years because of classic servers as I stated in my op. classic is not a private server. it is really not that hard to understand.

It’s referred to as “retail” because if you look at the game folders, that is what Blizzard calls it.

BfA stuff goes into the retail folders, Classic into the classic folder.

I personally call it modern (or sometimes current) but I know what people are referring to if they say retail. Think of how much fun it will be when BC servers come out and we have 3 different things to refer to :laughing: Ofc if people aren’t saying Classic (or BC in the future), one can just assume they mean the current version of the game.
