Yeah we got the item upgrade and was cool mainly for those chars you started MoP with because they already have the gear etc ……. But if you want to play another class you just not allowing players to get there , this only make players to ask more item level for any final content and you will not beeing able to get there because they now will want you with 520-530 ilevel for normal ToT , it is no news that the community take the item level like a sort off experince over all …..When it is far for beeing accuarate ….…. and this gap can get shorter if you guys let us upgraded all celestial gear…….and also including proffesions gear …….. Like this isnt new we got to upgrade Celestial from Vaults and after HoF and ToES …….
This isn’t a new raid tier patch……. It’s a filler…… Once siege is released there will be a new tier of celestial at about 528+ to get…… Along with the final cape upgrade….. If you want better you’ll need to raid for it…. Like this isn’t new info we’ve know this is how it will be after HoF and ToES…..

Your talking about 3 or more months of this ……. Like my point was to new players and alts …… this isnt friendly at all you know the comunity if your active player …….. you only get invited by item level , logs or achivment and your not getting those on first place if you dont have the gear to do it ……… you cant tell me that you havent see any player asking and irracional amount of ilvl for normal content ………. ToT its the final content right now and this already make to a lot of player ask in betwen 520 to 535 for normal …….. And it is there on the LFG Channel
The option for gearing alts is much faster this time around, than in original due to Celestials and being able to purchase gear via dungeon farming. The entry requirement into the raids should still be the same after the change, so smash a few normals and you’ll be over-geared for that content quick fast with a potential 12 ilevel upgrade over original MoP, where you’d have to get RNG lucky for a titanforge.
celestial dungeons are the most friendly alt gear has ever been…… Not only can you go in almost right after you get to level 90 but you’re getting gear from the tier of raids…… You want better…. you need to raid… that’s how its always been in the early expansions… You don’t need top level raid gear for daily actitives and again the celestial dungeons will be upgraded to give higher gear once siege is released. Put some effort into it…..
i have many alts all of them have 506 gear with neck 522 rep, head, boots 522 from blacksmith tailor etc im 14 ilvl away from the 520 minimun required for all the normal groups out theres cuz you know you should be aroun 530 if you raid with all your chars , how will i get if by beeing 506 im just out by ilvl and Alll of the All of them are asking 520 535 Right now for NORMAL ToT

You know what you did back then in MoP? Nothing. At this current content patch you would get to max level, do some heroic dungeons for 463 loot, buy 522 crafted gear & do worldbosses for 522 gear, do LFR to pray for some 506 gear and that’s about it. You wouldn’t even reach ilvl 500 before going to normal.
Just be real with yourself OP.. this game is just dead.. even if they thought it was the right thing to do.. and I am not saying they even bothered to think about it because hey.. thats doing something too.. where was I.. yes.. if it requires them doing anything then it won’t happen.

It would also greatly help alts to gear up if the valor gears wasn’t lock behind a rep.
(Yeah its only friendly required but nobody is running trash mob to farm rep and if there is they won’t take a fresh level 90, even in Full Celestial gear I was decline when I saw one lol.)
So I’m just gonna quit until Timeless Isle come out I guess and sit on my 20K Valor point who are gonna turn into pocket money.

Just run celestials on a main. Buy 502 weapon and get your 4 piece. Then either continue getting shards on main or run celestials on alt(preferred so you can start doing cloak quest). Easily get to 502 within a day or two depending on play time.
Not everyone is requiring super high ilvl. You wouldn’t fit in with the groups that do. You aren’t sweaty enough.
I just finished leveling an alt last week, got him to 502 the next day and was in a raid the day after.
Also, with extra power most people have, celestials are face roll easy. Even with a carry, they are 5-10 mins depending on how much role-playing it has.
