Why aren't pandaren taken more seriously?

My main is my warrior lol. This is already the case and is my headcanon. Made him long before this rogue

I take Pandarens very seriously! This is my main character. I wish there were more of us seen throughout the game, however, we must remember that most Pandarens never left our homeland. We few are the adventurous ones. We’re the ones who are trying to be sure no harm ever invades Pandaria again. We have an important job to do! And since you said you are fairly new to WoW, welcome!

I never think about them at all, unless one is blocking out my sun.

People confuse the concept of Pandaren with Ku Fu Panda soiling their opinions.

Or you know… it could be that the original idea behind Pandaren is well known to have been a literal joke.

Because if you aren’t regular human, green orc or an elf Blizz forgets you exist. Sometimes it’s for long stretches, sometimes it’s forever. Pandaren seem to be stuck in the forever category unfortunately.

How can one take a Panda seriously?

Even the red ones don’t inspire any fear :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

How dare you question our feriousity!

Heck, we even scare the bejeebus out of our mums at birth…

And as for red pandas, you see me beating the tar out of the rock…I just inspired you never to hide behind one when I come for cuddles because I killed that thing!

The race was and still is a joke but why do you care if your race is represented?

That rock didn’t stand a chance!

Playable furry races were a mistake.

Pandaren in particular should have stayed as an April Fool’s joke.

You are definitely not the only one. I had a little hope when I saw Ji play a, albeit small role in the latest book and when we went back to Pandaria during BfA, but that was really just to show off what a restored Vale would look like then proceed to pervert it again with N’zoth invading.

Even at the end of BfA with both factions coming together, you would think that Pandaren might play a bit in a role in mediating, but no real presence and a explanation why Ji wasn’t present at least. He was taking care of Baine fine, but Aysa is nowhere and no mention of her at all.
Missed opportunity there tbh.

But since we are in the Shadowlands and exploring the afterlife, where is ol Master Shang Xi at!?

I think the Mists of the Islands keep them from being seen by the world?

My second favourite race!

Ignoring the fact that my main is a pandaren monk…

You saying Tauren were a mistake? Because no.

I love pandaren but I can’t look at them without wanting to pat their big stomachs like I’m softly playing drums.

Like I could be getting absolutely wasted by a pandaren in an RGB and I’d just be thinking, “aw, look at how he bounce when he jump”

Because your based on kung fu panda…something made for children. Also pandaria was an april fools joke made real after the reactions.
