I look at the forums between chores and errands, being the good retiree and house husband I am. The forums mirror a lot of the fractures in American society so I appreciate getting a snapshot of how messed up we are by reading the threads and, occasionally replying. Fortunately, there are enough well read and well reasoned folks who leave me feeling that ultimately, we’re looking at a really rough section of road and some rickety bridges rather than a precipice. Thank you for being you.

Playing the game and enjoying it means at least an hour of time investment at a desktop. A quick browse of the forums and leaving a comment can be done in minutes from anywhere.

You know what job I’ve heard is great for having nothing to do and spending a bunch of time playing games, watching movies and such? Highway Weigh Station workers, don’t know if it’s true or not since I don’t personally do it but just what I heard 
There’s some cool folks on the forums.
And it’s my main outlet to discuss Sethrak and the request to have them made playable.
Plus, I can’t play WoW at work.

Complaints are subjective. Mostly what I see on the forums are whiners upset at how other people play the game. Oooh boosting bad, token bad, lfr bad, m+ toxic, m+ timer bad, devs making changes to the game that don’t impact game play bad.
Now there are legit complaints about the game. The grinding is definitely one of them. The overall gameplay depending upon class/spec would be another. But most of the time the complaints are shrouded in the individual’s perception or how they think the game should be played. And they swing the complaint hammer like they are righteous in their opinions. News flash they aren’t they are mostly just venting about a perceived issue.
Millions of people still play this game. And all at different skill levels, and attitude towards the game. So there’s going to be a lot of stuff that some like, some don’t.
Not at home, loading screens, flight paths, reading things while making another another transmog look (only have 7 on this char of 12 60’s), waiting for a queue, can insert anything that gives a delay in playing really.
Having “distractions” at work is actually a legitimately studied thing, and it’s necessary for us to function. We can’t give anything 100% of our attention for extended periods of time in most cases. Even while playing the game, people will still find themselves glacing out the window for a couple of seconds, checking their phone, etc. We need these breaks in concentration so we can give our all in shorter bursts, rather than only performing at a fraction for extended periods of time.
