Yes because there’s different ways to approach people will always on the same ways it’s something that each person has to change personally. I engage things differently but I get the same results:
Passive aggressive comments
The “where’s your data” meme when it’s clear that things arent amazing in general
Basically they ignore me and move on (which is fine by me but being on an echo chamber forum why being on a forums at all if you can’t handle different views?)
Catching up on series and waiting for my ticket to get answer (wont happen until monday )
I get mad because my posts get trolled, then I get mine deleted because someone tags it as troll. It might be repeated content, but isn’t that the point. People like you & I realize there is something wrong with the game, we complain, and unfortunately those who think the game is “as intended” want us to go away.
The problem is that it is not clear. You see it as clear because it supports your feelings. I don’t mean that as an attack, that is normal human behavior. I see tons of people in game, I find groups fast. My friends list is active. My guild is active. Etc.
The echo chamber leans FAR more closely to people wanting head pats for saying the game/company sucks.
I am not faulting, or disagreeing, with people not liking it. I am 100% certain there are things you think are the best thing ever that I hate… what we enjoy isn’t a universal truth. But the two points I addressed are relevant.
Yeah, I see these on both sides of arguments, too. These appear in every M+ thread, every casuals vs elitist thread, every love vs hate Blizzard thread.
My personal favorite is the “let me put words in your mouth” defense. A close second is the “yeah, you’ve proven me wrong but I refuse to admit it so I’m going to double-down now” defense.
Like I keep saying. These kinds of players are in denial because they don’t want more people getting disillusioned with the game. I bet they’re 100% aware SL is up ship creek and this is just self preservation.
yea, and when I complain specifically about M+ being too difficult for the poor rewards, I get nothing but trolls
I have come to the conclusion that they want to keep most casuals out of AOTC and Mythic Raiding. That is why they begged Activision to nerf loot tables on Mythic +, and eliminate anything that could be considered “welfare” or easily obtainable, such as additional rolls. It wouldn’t surprise me if they make all Raid gear BOP on the next cycle.
The threads that usually get deleted is where it’s not clear what issue the OP is talking about. Let’s take this thread as an example, the OP is saying the game sucks etc. without any context as to what content they are doing, what they feel is wrong with the game much less anything that is open for debate. They came here expecting everyone to just echo chamber their view and now that has not happened (surprise different people have different views).
3 weeks ago it was a push week for M+ which is what i love to do, i had no issue finding groups to do keys and even pushed many keys that are higher ones for me.
Actually i saw a lot of groups to play with and had no issue filling my groups either, so that people that left i dont really care because probably they are just people that do quest and dont engage endgame activities.
only to those who want to steal other’s identity. Casual is not add/adhd, casual is not obsessive or compulsive, casual is not spending 8-10 hours a day, every day. Not saying being a casual is being “a bad;” however, most of those who do Mythic Raiding would prefer avoiding casuals, (and usually refer to them as “bads”) because WE do not have their commitment, WE refuse to accept a schedule. WE will raid, its not against the grain, but it is on our terms, and on an acceptable schedule.
What an awesome explanation, I play very sporadically when I have time, I do the things I enjoy (and currently just don’t want to raid but have in past expansions). I log in usually for an hour or so before work daily then sometimes after work but not always.
