Ion Hazzikostas: Shadowlands Pathfinder, which is coming in Chains of Domination, will not require any reputations. This is different from Pathfinder achievements from past expansions, it just requires completing your full Covenant campaign and the new chapters added in Chains of Domination. Once you’ve done that, you have mastered the overworld of Shadowlands, restored much of the Anima, and then you can earn the ability to fly within the Shadowlands.

I’m sure it will be locked behind the final renown level of the 40 additional levels they will be adding. I’m sure it will take many, many weeks.
With all this time-gating, I see no reason for casual players to not unsub until after those weeks have passed, and then resub for 1 month when the pittance of new content is no longer being stretched out over several months.

It honestly feels about the right time now to get flight, i’ve seen it all on foot now hundreds of times over and i’m getting frustrated being ground bound. Really flight should have been unlocked at Renown 40 which would have been tomorrow.
Dude it’s coming in 9.1 and will be tied to renown…like they have said from launch and confirmed at Blizzconline. Chill out, be patient.

My question is more specifically, what is the end of campaign/renown actually gonna be in 9.1? Another 24? 44? How long will they timegate the chapters? Something that we could say for sure “if you get your 2 per week it’ll take X weeks”
