Why are there sentient windchimes?

The fact that both Basilisks and Crocolisks exist and the main difference between them is that a Crocolisk is basically just a Basilisk that can swim instead of petrify you with their gaze suggests that somewhere somehow their evolutionary line split off into two directions. Given that “Crocolisk” is obviously a spinoff from Crocodiles, but crocodiles do not exist in Azeroth, I would like to posit my theory as to where Crocolisks came from.

Some lunatic gnome, or perhaps a genius goblin, decided to introduce Basilisks into every crocodile environment and crossbreed crocodiles out of existence, instead replacing them with the even more frightening 6 legged Crocolisks.

This is the only logical conclusion.

Don’t you dare hate on windchimes.

No weirder than anything else around here. Talking wind chime? That ain’t even the weirdest thing I’ve seen today. Warlocks summon moaning wads of sentient blue snot. Dirty soap bubbles will occasionally get belligerent and attack. I’ve done jobs for ghosts who’ve paid me in decidedly non-ghostly cash.

So lemmie get this straight OP…

1.) We can kill a dragon the same height as the Chrysler Building wearing nothing but short shorts, a pumpkin head, and dual wielding floppy fish and some how kill it.

2.) We can drop a meteor-sized fireball (even indoors) on top of a fire elemental and some how do so much damage we could critically hit it.

3.) A gnome the same heft as an overweight chihuahua can not only dual wield swords as long as Dallas, Texas, but can swing them around as if they were glued together with balsa wood and wet cardboard.

4.) A Pandaren with the legs of a Welsh Corgi and the body of a football fan, can outrun a night elf with leather and a runner’s body, while still in half-inch thick platemail made out of a metal so dense it could be mistaken for a Kardashian.

And the one thing…THE ONE THING…that sets you off is the Naaru are ‘sentient windchimes’?

I think sentient windchimes are no more unusual than a superintelligent shade of the color blue. Infinite diversity in infinite combinations. Star Trek 101.
