Why are the requirements so steep for flying in Draneor?

Are they as steep in Legion and BfA?
I can understand exploring and some zone questing requirements, but they tacked on a bunch of out there crap.

It’s honestly not that bad because you can handle most of it in an afternoon, especially if you’re the lucrative sort and your server’s a bit populated. Purchasing Legion Tokens from WoD will increase all reputations in WoD by a fair bit.

The rest is just killing, looting, and exploring places. And loremaster, which has become a staple of Pathfinder since its first iteration in WoD. It might feel steep, but sitting down and just banging it out quickly will result in it going by fast. And you get a mount for it.

Worth if you’re a collector.

As far as Legion and BFA go, their Pathfinders have two parts to both. BFA’s isn’t even out yet. Legion, on the flip, wasn’t bad. But much akin to WoD, loremaster is a heavy part of it, as is doing 100 world quests, reaching revered with all reputations, completing your class campaign (which is slightly time gated), and exploring all zones.

WoD is not a good map to run around . The mobs are strong and the paths not well defined . Legion is a bit better. Anyway once I reach exalted with all the BFA factions I am going to go back to knock out pathfinder for them. Should be easier with a maxed toon especially in WoD

Legion wasn’t bad to get I was just do it casually though, Part 1 of BFA isn’t tough either just set a goal for yourself and just work at it each day. Pretty soon you’ll be done. Waiting to see what Part 2 brings

Yah I agree on mobs. They are strong in Draneor. You get a lot of adds too. It’s not really a death threat for my spec, tank. But it makes for slow going.

I was thinking about doing WoD flying too cause when I go there I hate not being able to fly, but it sounds so daunting.

It was the first Pathfinder achive … so it was very harsh

Kind of glad they made the next two manageable lol.

It was harsh when it first happened, since it was new, and people had to up and farm to get it as soon as possible. However, once you actually just sit down to do it, it only takes a day or so, if that. And if you plan on leveling alts, it is VERY much worth the afternoon of dedication to get it done.

Suck it up, buttercup.

I dread going back to Draenor. I did t once, and it was one of the worst experiences I have had in the game. That entire intro quest is cringe worthy, just a bad credit roll for an old tv show featuring a bunch of dead Horde heroes. The close ups and action poses were utterly immersion breaking.

Then you’re railroaded into a super linear path to your Garrison, and at the end, you find yourself in one of the most annoying to explore regions in the game.

I tried to walk in with an open mind when I finally got around to WoD. But it was just terrible.

I can’t believe they still require Pathfinder for WoD. Legion sure, even if it is sketchy. But WoD? It’s one of the most wackiest gameplay decisions I’ve seen them make.

It was the start of the spiteful time gate. I hate WoD because it was the expansion that started the war on flying.

Where are you guys getting that it takes an afternoon, or a couple days to do this? I’m actually working on pathfinder for WoD and it’s taking forever. Mainly because of the two reps that can’t be ground out. Oh sure, if you buy the medallions, but those were over 5k a pop last I checked and there isn’t usually that many on the AH. Maybe I’m missing something. Perhaps you guys can tell me how to do this in one afternoon without medallions?

Ya it’s on the list of things to do lol.

Because they were too arrogant to admit they were wrong to remove flying and wanted to spite the playerbase for daring to want to keep a feature they love in the game.

I understand how you feel. Just buy a couple of wow tokenz and cash them in, then buy the medallions and right click to win.

For pathfinders that are two expansions old, they should make it buyable via a vendor. I did it when it was current, but doing WoD dailies years after the fact is not fun gameplay.
