Not me! I picked Venthyr BM when it was the worst one. I still performed better than our min maxing hunters kek.
…then thrash it again when the views start slowing down. Why dont people “get” this by now?
Very rarely do I let other people tell me how i should be playing the game I want to play.
Indeed! I picked the covenants I wanted to and had a lot of fun playing the game the way that i enjoyed.
Haters can hate all they want, it dosenʻt really affect me. The negativity can get repetitive tho.
I’ve always thought this from the first trailer. To me, it just looks like a copy and paste, doesn’t seem like much and the fact people are hyped over a new character select screen seems a bit sad. Yes, it’s a cool feature but we should be a bit more excited over something else.

Is it nice? Sure. Should it be an expansion feature? lol absolutely not.

Same. I wasn’t enjoying SL’s so I played GW2 for a couple years and it’s such a good game. Still play it from time to time.
This part I can empathize with. Some of these folks have been playing since the game started and loved it, and probably still love it, have friends here, etc. And their complaints are valid. The game has changed a ton over 20 years. Perhaps they’re still hoping Blizz will listen to what they have to say and will guide the game more towards things they like, too.
But this is the part that I don’t get. There are some folks that straight up live for arguing and hating on people who are still having fun in the game.
Definitely strong D2 vibes with the War Bands. I like it, but then again I haven’t any complaints about the changes even the action sequences for new characters.

The “content creators” are the people at Blizzard who make the content.
The chatterati on youtube are not content creators.
There ARE content creators on youtube, like CGPGrey and Commissar Binkov and many others.
But I’m not aware of a single content creator for WoW. Apart from the ones at Blizzard.
(If your “content creation” is “in this video I talk about something somebody else created”… that’s not content creation. That’s editorial opinion.)

The cinematic trailer for TWW was very dull. Had the actual trailer for the game been of Alleria and Xal, TWW might be viewed differently.
Depends on the content creator. There is a group of high sub content creators who are in the business of farming for clicks. They know the one sure place to get clicks is to repeat what any group of angry people want to hear over and over and over again.
They don’t care about the people watching, they don’t care about the subject they are covering, they don’t care if what they say is fair or even if it’s true. If it generates clicks it goes in their video.
Now that’s not all content creators. Some of them are great, giving useful information or “how to” videos but we all know who the click farmers are.

It’s sad if that’s going to be one of the main highlights for the expansion, like yeah it’s a cool feature but it shouldn’t be one of the few things we look forward too…

sounds about right…‘elitists’ thinking the game revolves around them.
I guess thats Ion and crews fault for making them believe that crap for so long, though. Guess they’ll have to adjust to how things will be heading IF this game is going to hold steady instead of continuing to lose interest by casual players.
Like every other expansion since i started, I’ll give every new one a chance to prove itself and judge it when I am actively playing it.
Hopefully DF is the start of better days for this game. 3 of 4 being clunkers prior to DF wasnt exactly endearing me to the game.

It wasn’t the expansion cinematic though. It was a teaser. Even Metzen billed it as a ‘small heartfelt moment’ that would lead to something much bigger. We’ll likely get the actual Cinematic after Alpha starts. Same as we did with Dragonflight.

M+ is a trash system, and the only reason it is popular because it is more accessible than raiding. Thats it. It isn’t fun content by any means, despite what the forum apologists say here.

It’s probably because what has been shown off isn’t that much. Hero specs aren’t that much, dynamic flight is just dragon riding, so that’s nothing new, delves seem so far to be just bigger digs? (we need to see much more on that), and people had wish lists for new races and the Earthen don’t seem to be popular at all. People didn’t like Deepholm and Zaralek but they are doubling down the underground thing.
There just hasn’t been a lot of hype yet.
