To be fair we kinda got moses’d and had to be roomies with sea people we cant play as.
Make a better argument if you want me to bother even respond to your point.
What you said is utter nonsense.
because the allie story line has been and always will be uninteresting and lame, especially in comparison to the horde story line.
it needs to either be spiced up or we need to ditch factions. personally i want to see the allies as instigators in something bad. i want the horde to have to come to the conclusion that helping out the allies is what needs to be done. not vice-versa. vice-versa is boring and trope-y.
I do. Way better than being a part of the farm animal faction. Ever wonder what a horde raid smells like? it amazes me blood elves can even put up with the smell long enough to get anything done.
Neat allied races (though wine elves should have looked more like the npcs in suramar or withered, not recolored night elves), all the story, more mount diversity, former op racials that led to a bleed out (it happened, it lead to what we have now) among other things.
Horde is not “better” at PvP. It’s fairly even there. “Alliance bad at PvP” is a myth. Alliance generally being less coordinated because fewer alliance guilds drop into random BGs? That I can see. But not every well-coordinated plan is a -good- plan…
That said, I have fun fighting Horde. And mostly, they’re nice people. Everyone over from the pvp servers who tries to actually gear up through battlegrounds alone? Kudos.
And then we lost our whole fleet to some water hole. That’s a bigger slap on our face.
All the sea creatures can stay there. Fin-goblins and fish people can stay in nazjatar.
Its not about that.
the issue the Alliance story is reactive and always bends to what the Horde and its playerbase needs rather what the Alliance needs.
Its not about being uninteresting. You could write an entire multi-series novels just about the Stormwind politics if you had competent writers.
And honestly the Horde committing a mass slaughter and finding their moral compass ever 3 years is infact stale and boring but here we are. Running after yet another Horde self discovery storyline.
Hopefully we see gorak tul in shadowlands, since that whole story just kind of ended. Pretty lame ending so far.
This I agree with. Lately I feel like we are the hordes janitors.
Horde F up and did _______. Alliance look around and say seriously they’re not going to clean this up? Okay I guess we’ll have to do it
Bring yrel to azeroth, initiate the purge.
Easy story. Greymane and tyrande go full murder mode.
Something.
I am not unhappy but I understand why a lot of people are.

No thanks I really don’t want to feel like a Sith Lord. I’m happy that our faction gets along drinking fancy dwarf beer
We’re the true followers of the light, gotta remove the unclean.

Greymane and tyrande go full murder mode.
Yeah I would totally support this. Anything would be better than “oh in lore the alliance won back Darkshore and Gilneas, but it won’t be reflected in game because reasons.”
“Buy the books if you want alliance story”

I think people dislike alliance because it’s been a pretty racist faction for a super long time. Hell, they still can’t get over the concept that their loved ones, while undead, may very well still be the people they once loved. In many situations, they slaughter anything not human-enough looking or that doesn’t obediently follow the light.
Are you projecting? This sounds more like Garrosh and Sylvanas, if you ask me; Garrosh hated everything not Orc, including members of the Horde; Sylvanas hates all of the living, including Horde. Meanwhile, Anduin and Velen are constantly vying for peace, Worgen were forced to the Alliance out of necessity, when they were invaded without provocation in an attempt to remain isolated/neutral, and the Draenei came to us, because Orcs attempted genocide on them.
Also, Alliance set up a meeting with the Forsaken and their living family members. Sylvanas killed them all.
Alliance is a trash faction in the devs eyes.
Diaper gnomes?
Obese humans instead of Vrykul?
No cinematics? A tree was burned to the ground and its citizens slaughtered…who cares? Poor saurfang. Poor horde.

Another case where alliance story only exist in novels but not the game.
