Pre-mades don’t want to fight pre-mades. They want to stomp over less coordinated groups that were put together by solo queue.
Blizz segregated twinks basically over the same unfairness, because twinks were stomping all the fun out of BGs.

Not necessarily true. I’ve been in tons of premades that we’re willing to fight to the end in a premade v premade if they had a shot (not getting camped at GY). Those are usually significantly more fun than even any pug v pug.
Vanilla is an old school mmo and a social game where grouping is paramount over solo play in all aspects of the game. Solo play should never be encouraged over groups.
If blizzard gives us rated battlegrounds, then i’m OK with getting rid of premades. But until then, premades should stay. Every server has a discord where you can easily get into a premade as any class.

They wouldn’t group pre-made vs pre-made by choice when the opportunity and goal is fast games. This would be the same saving face argument that twinks used. They got segregated and brackets disappeared.
The only fair BG is random solo queue.

You didn’t fix anything. Some premades will surrender after 1 flag cap in a premade v premade.
I’ve played with tons of premades who have people who want to fight a long game to the end and not surrender immediately. Most premades run by me are like this. And premade v premade are by far the most fun when the group isn’t full of lame minmaxers who will surrender after 1 cap, and significantly more fun than lousy pug games.
You wouldn’t even know this since you don’t play with premades. You are just spitting out presumptions.

People mostly pre-made in SoD for fast games. What you are speaking about is a minority group. You are sounding exactly like twinks of the old. Their communities shrank drastically when they got twink vs twink only BGs. Same $h!t diff pile.
Yeah I’m in mostly solo queue games, and every single game people are crossing their fingers it’s a random, or are demoralized dejected because they’ve been up against pre-mades a half dozen or more times in a row. It’s simply a dysfunctional system of play.

You wouldn’t even know this because you don’t play with premade groups.
I run with the premade discord on my server all the time. There is a lot of people on there who are already exalted that run for fun. The majority of groups in that server will fight a premade v premade to the end, unless they get absolutely crushed mid and get camped at their GY.
Even when the group I get in is unfortunately a minmaxer group, a good chunk of the opposing premades I fight do fight us back hard even when we get the first cap.
Believe it or not there is players that play for fun and don’t just try to minmax the fun out of everything. But like I said, you don’t know this because you don’t run with premades. You aren’t wrong that some premades minmax, but it’s been 50/50 roughly at worst on my server’s premade discord.

What are you trying to argue? That there’s a bunch of pre-mades hoping to play other pre-mades? Bull. It’s definitely not a bunch. I’m watching my guild relish in the fact that their premades are winning all their games. You gonna tell me this is anecdotal and far from reality?

Explain to me: how do you know this when you have 0 experience running in premades? Do you have scientific polling data showing this?
As someone who actually is very involved with premades, there is loads of people in my server discord that don’t want to surrender instantly to other premades. I’ve been in countless long games. There is lame groups that will surrender, but they aren’t more than half the groups.
all of their premades includes their premade v premade games. Half the teams you fight are other premade groups.
The system will prioritize premade v premade, but pug v premade can still happen. I’m personally fine with this, premade v premade are the most fun when both sides are trying to the end. A better solution would just be RBGs though.

I don’t have to run pre-mades to know what the demographics feel like. I have well over 250000 kills in my pvp lifetime.
yeah i like the change, smart way to do it. I dont think full stack premades will face many pugs tho, SOD is very popular.
Then you admit you are just assuming, since you play solo. The thing is this is classic. Vanilla is an old school mmo where grouping is always paramount and solo is a disadvantage. Retail caters more to the solo play mindset.
but this is sod, and now open wpvp will punish grouping like that. Know whats the most fun style of pvp? Taking your op main in a pug v pug and carrying it.

Nah, I remember in vanilla PvP had a bad rap to those who weren’t 100% invested.
People had negative opinions on PvP and never even stepped foot in a BG. Twinks and pre-mades were the sole cause for this distress.
I don’t enjoy getting in a randomized group with a garbage comp, and players skirmishing in the middle with no game plan and ignoring objectives. This is why premade v premade is way more fun, RBGs would be a massive benefit to the game.
People who hate pvp while not participating in it are irrelevant… because pvp doesn’t affect them, they just hate that their are rewards behind when they don’t want to pvp at all. They are just whiners.

Because I hate mobas. I enjoy pvp in WoW. And classic is a social game based on group play.
The system prioritizes premade v premade, it doesn’t eliminate pug v premade. This benefits my play style since I enjoy the premade v premade games.
Like i’ve been saying, if they added RBGs, I don’t care if they get rid of premades in non rated queues. If rated battlegrounds are in non-rated can be a casual system. Otherwise premades should be allowed to stay.

You understand this isn’t classic. This is changes the season, it’s more popular than classic. Gdkp even got banned, you don’t even know what the intended game is anymore, because it’s not the same game
