I can afford it. I hate it because it literally destroys the games economy because of wow tokens. Before the AH mount dropped, tokens were going for 150k on my server. After it dropped, it went up to 269k and up and wow tokens are usually sold out now.

frankly, as some have been using the word ‘sucker’ for those of us buying the Bruto, I personally think id be a sucker if I spent $20 real money for 150gold given the cost of the crap in the current expansion. lol
250k gold is BARELY worth $20 real money.
Now you know why wow tokens are all but gone now, well at least for my server.
Blizzard has given you a way to earn gold to get the mount without money. Take advantage of that.

That’s the problem
People are mad because they pay Blizzard for the game and subscription every month and Blizzard uses the money to create items for the shop instead of content for the subscribers. The Item shop should have never been added to a subscription game.

and yet other games like ESO have stores too and believe it or not, it has caused no fatalies or adverse health effects 
The thing about OPTIONAL is…no one HAS do even look at it
Every item for sale in the shop is cosmetic and has no actual impact on gameplay capabilities of anyone in game whether they buy them or not.
Also, because Token exists, every item in the shop can be purchased with IN-GAME currency without spending a single penny of IRL money. This includes actual subscription costs for the game itself.
Additionally, the WoW Blizzard Store isn’t some Gacha Mobile market full of power boosts like other games. It’s literally just OPTIONAL cosmetics, and cute QoL utility stuff that offers no actual player power at all. You can go your entire WoW career without ever even opening the shop and have an experience that is no different from a person who chooses to buy every mount and pet and cosmetic in the shop.
The only actual play impacting thing in the store is the level 70 Boost. And even that is pointless and inefficient to spend money on given the ridiculous in-game XP bonuses everywhere that make leveling an actual joke. Not to mention they throw free boosts at repeated subs for free so often that people just have character boosts sitting around unused that they never spent a penny on.

If I had bought the original for 5 mil I’d be a little salty about how much cheaper this one is, while also looking better.

man that was two weeks ago. now everyone is fighting over housing, which we know nothing about and the tinker class which we have no idea about its existence!

Nope. At least not for me. I love Bruto 1.0 and its Moebius-like coloring. Bruto 2.0 looks okay, but if it didn’t have a mailbox, I would have passed.
I’m very thankful that they didn’t put anyone else through that crazy 3 month grind this time, and actually announced when it is going away up front.
All and all, happy to welcome Bruto 2.0.

Yeah, I’ll take a 3 hour grind earning a little extra cash over a 3 month grind earning a truckload of gold in game haha.
I say I don’t like the business practice, but I guess saying that doesn’t mean much when I supported it with my wallet. Oh well, I’ve spent more money on worse things.

I wonder what will happen when people find out that the Tinker class can make a ‘caravan’ type replacement for the vendors that will function as mobile housing.
