Why are people acting surprised when combat addons propped up class/encounter design

you can’t have one without the other, so, i wonder how hard they’re going to walk back on this

You’re going to be cycling between 4 buttons, all of your power is going to come from passives, and dodging puddles is going to be 85% of boss mechanics. If they were just honest about Microsoft forcing them to simplify the game to port it to console and try to make more money in that market, it’d be more respectable. But trying to play off these changes as “accessibility and approachability” when everyone can plainly see what’s going on is just pathetic.

Honestly this is the worst case scenario that I pictured.

I hoped they would keep class gameplay more or less the same but with new cool talents and integrate many of the add-ons into the base game.

Oh boy how wrong I was.

There isn’t really much of a gap between hard bosses with and without weakauras. We’re going to see less Broodtwisters and Fractiluses, but just as many Saladkings and Dimmy’s is my guess for how fight design will play out.
