You never have to in the first place. Focus on playing the game instead of judging what other people have chosen to play and you might be able to enjoy it a bit.

They can’t even fix our broken talents since pre-patch I don’t think Blizzard thinks of Shamans much

For Paladin, it’s likely the mount that is restricting them.
For Shaman it’s the totems.
the question should be why can tauren be rogues.
I’m sure a pally mount could be completed in 30 days or less if it went to the shop… 
They use the mount and totem excuse as if every shaman and paladin didnt have the same mount before. They easily could add the races then roll out the totems and monts. And lets be honest a totem is static and has zero movement they need to rig so its basically just laziness on blizzs part.

If it’s any consolation, Blizz has had problems with Shaman talents since Vanilla. Folks forget that they were originally planned to be the other tanking class to mirror paladins (Shaman were Horde only and Pallies were Alliance only back then). But Blizz decided to make enhancement be melee dps instead. Unfortunately they left a bunch of the tanking talents in the tree (dodge, shield specialization, more threat from Rock biter weapon, etc). And that mess wasn’t cleaned up until Wrath iirc.
There is lore reasons for so and so not being available yet, chief among them is we dont play radicals of our people, we play reflections of them or lore induced reasons for so and so.
Like there is no history of gnome paladins or shamans because their people have a drastically different culture, prefering technology over magic many deem primitive.
Also gnome priests lorewise are a minority and are considered radicals of their people as faith really isnt there fore tay.
As for night elf paladins, what they worship has to embody light, Elune does not, as she embodies the night and the moon.
The Night elf Paladin we have is a radical who embraced the light on an intimate level.

Lorewise the horde shouldn’t even have pallys, Blood elves are blood knights not Paladins.
Trolls and Tauren paladins are just nonsense and added to appease the player base.
No, they perfectly explain it and Troll “paladins” have existed in lore way before BFA.
Paladin is just a player term now, but all within that label embody light on an intimate level.

We need Dracthyr Paladins. It makes sense since they know Tyr.
They actually dont know Tyr, so they wouldnt have a strong connection to him where the Earthern would.
They were all brainwashed to worship deathwing, only now are they free to explore other chains of thought given the mind control was also broken.
