Why are none of the streamers on Twitch facing lag?

Did a quick check of all the streamers who are playing WoW and have drops enabled at the moment, and none of them are experiencing lag.

Why is it that everyone else is lagging but none of the sponsored streamers are?

Could be bias.

What if the only people streaming are the ones without problems?

How many streamers aren’t streaming right now because they can’t log in?

I’m on the same battlegroup as a few of them. I got booted and couldn’t log back in, while they haven’t had a break in their streaming the entire time.

Same thing that happened with path of exile - Streamers get priority servers (or in this game priority phasing). Yes this is a real thing, and yes it makes sense. Is it fair? Arguably not, but streamers need to make the game look good for blizz, so it makes sense.

Obviously Blizzard has a team that is dedicated to making sure they have priority. They are more important than us little people, I guess.

It’s no secret that big-time steamers have some sort of privelage.

This is not true.

KT isn’t low pop. Asmon is definitely on, though.

Pika 100% is not getting into the zone and facing lag.

1/10 for effort.

im totally willing to say its just favortism but, just playing devils advocate for a minute, they all probably have that 1 gig nanotube internet thats not available everywhere. normal people dont have that. more stable, and faster, connection.

i also know first hand that people who consider themselves celebrities will fight and fight and complain and complain until they get a direct line to some exec’s office at their provider’s company that they will hit up anytime they lag even a little bit, and they will still complain its not good enough. my point here is that its entirely likely that they get special treatment because “their job depends on internet quality” and thus make a fuss about it. So, when you factor in the service, and the sponsorship, the providers, it all adds up to exemplary “luck”.

I mean or its just, you know, pure luck and if you draw any conclusions from it you’re a conspiracy theorist.

could also be streamers who arent streaming since they cant even login, but, idk, i dont watch streamers. i think people becoming youtubers is damaging to the future of civilization as a whole so i dont support it, at least as much as i can avoid it, but thats a different topic.

and we have nothing better to do than complain because we cant login anyway so, might as well complain right?

I can see the big name streamers not having any lag or issues, but there are streamers having issues.

Some streamers are. Taliesin is stuck at the same world server down boss that the rest of us are.

Because there are currently 700,000 people watching World of Warcraft on Twitch. It is a massive audience.

Blizzard is going to make sure none of the viewers see a streamer complain about their servers being down.

Oh ok

Wait, the biggest shill is unable to play? Well, I guess the conspiracies were wrong. Time to go home… unless??

even bigger conspiracy
