Why are legion raids not soloable yet

What some mean by soloable is easy to solo.

My standard in mind:

Go see blackhand in WoD.

A few shots floor break 1.

A fews shots, class depending, Blackhand dead or floor break 2

A few shots, loot that corpse.

At 197 even boss 1 EN is not this simple. She is quite grindy. Even with OP kyrian or fae cd burst of doom on a hunter. This runs out and its jsut sooooo much HP bar left.

Havoc DH…yeah…people gripe about the nerfs in SL. They need to go see this dragon to get the full picture on jsut how bad Havoc was jacked up here. It make a DH cry…if they still had eyes and tears glands to cry.

Inb4 why do some want it easy. Some like me we don’t take 1 char here. ICC night for me is not 1 char. Its…4 chars. At least. 1 of each armour class. While there I try to get as many mogs as I can. Maybe an argent tourney or the vaults if faction of the char is in control. and thus wrath raid night is at least 8 raids.

RNG is our mortal enemy here. RNG can only be broken by brute force.

I literally just did that earlier this week?

Ahh I think that’ll come when/if they implement the demoralised debuff to the bosses of legion.

Bump*, this content should be soloable almost immediately as we are “technically” 20 levels higher, but their level squish changed them to level 50 and not 40, so a legacy balance bug exists.

Once level 60, old tier content should scale downward to prevent this issue:
Shadowlands - Level 60
BFA - Level 50 (Medium to Hard, depending on difficulty, but much of the normal content should be soloable). Enemies need to stop scaling at item level 120 or so…
Legion - Level 40 (Easy)
Older Legacy - Level 30 (Super Easy)

Mythic ToS isn’t soloable. I’ve tried.

I just want to know how/why/who thinks that the scaling is correct.

FACT: At level 120, I could solo things that I could also solo after the level squish at level 50. Now, at level 60, everything is SLOWER than it was at 50, and I can NOT solo as far as I could.

… Is this serious?

When they did the squish, they found out and so did the players, that 60 is indeed a whole lot more than “Just a number” as scaling came into play and required more effort than cut and paste tweaks, so NO what could be solo’ed at 120 cannot be at 60.

Now, their story has changed. They refuse to fix it, hiding behind “working as intended”. So did they lie then or are they lying now? Either way they are liars.

They literally just need to scale the mobs down one level for the Legacy buff to apply.

There’s even a guide on it!

:slightly_smiling_face:

i hope 9.1 reverts loot nerf and fixes legion raid scaling

you must have missed the part where they essentially said that as Shadowlands progresses through more tiers of raids you’ll get stronger and eventually this will lead to the soloing old content issue working itself out.

I said it a while back, this will be fixed as soon as we have a content drought and people start unsubbing.

Biggest non-answer I’ve seen.

It’s the answer they gave, along with “Working as intended” for good measure. Just wait upwards to 2 years of active playtime and you’ll eventually be able to solo what you could at 120!

“Once you’re in 9.3 mythic raid gear, you can solo at our new level 130 (60) what you could at 120(50)!”

Is that as a dps spec or tank spec

DPS spec.

They have to sell it in a new feature in a future patch.

“Remember those old raids you sort of could solo already but now can’t? Well, now you can again! You’re welcome”

I am inclined to believe you, they honestly t do feel harder then they did before prepatch and that is wrong I hope blizzard is working on a fix.
