Why are Kul'Tirans so damn big?

I like them big… I like them chunky…

why Daelin Proudmore, Jaina Proudmore, Derek Proudmore and all the other “select” humans who are Kultiran and somehow are not of Kultiran size.

come on we know the answer… were just not going to say.

I heard someone theorize that Kul Tiras mixed bred with the Drust Vrykul, and that is why they are so big, but honestly, I don’t think that is the case. I don’t think Kul Tirans are any bigger than normal humans, Blizzard just wanted to introduce body types.

My problem with this is that is’t not a “race”. And Blizzard framing it as a race not only adds some lore confusion, but also makes it unlikely that we will see body types introduced for other races.

Sorry guys, we’re not getting Thicc, chunky elves.

It’s less a theory and more or less a confirmed fact from Ulfar, the last (known) living Drust.

I mean, that just says where Kul Tirans learned Druidism, not really confirmed that Humans and Drust got it on.

“Some of their descendants heard the call of the wilds”.

“Their” being the Thornspeakers that joined Kul Tiran society. At the time, the Thornspeakers were composed entirely of Drust.

But I will say it’s not super clear and Blizz could easily flip it one way or the other.

Since Blizzard loves balance between factions so much, why don’t they give their troll counterparts a “big” size option as well?

Use one of the five vry’kul disguise toys. Make them slightly taller than tauren. Bam.

That’s wrong lore wise. Only some Vrykul were effected by the curse of flesh and those that were had to kill any child they had who were born feeble, small and weak.

Some chose to cull their children others ran away with them. Some chose to fall asleep in hibernation and others still roamed the land and those not effected continued to have Vrykul children.

Those that kept having smaller and smaller children and didn’t kill them moved to Tirisfal Glades aka Tyr’s fall Glade of those descendants humanity remain. Drust became extinct and those Drust who intermarried with humans continue on within Kul Tiras and especially among the Thornspeakers as many heard the call of the wilds thanks to their kinship and unique ancestry as implied by Ulfar.

Oh I thought they were all affilicted not some. Ah well.

Erm it’s not stated that Kul Tirans intermarried any drust. In fact, Blizzard said that the Kul Tirans are totally human and are just a different body build.

Ulfar’s comment that the Thornspeakers joined Kul Tiran society and those Kul Tirans then heard the call of the wilds. It’s strongly implied that Drust were larger human builds with greyish skin. If Vrykul are essentially larger humans and for the most part could have easily integrated into Tirisfal’s early humans why not the Drust?
