Why are Feral Druids still in the game?

FWIW, I still believe PW on Orgo to be full pad. You simply don’t need to kill the little adds very fast. And pushing the boss with 1 less arcing current makes the fight SO much easier. I was top boss dps by a good margin on our first kill.

Do I think that our cleave could be buffed? Yeah. But being able to do damage to the important target still serves an important role.

For Orgozoa I find it’s better to tunnel the boss and let classes with better cleave deal with the adds. You only need enough add damage so that they die right before or very close after the next set spawns, and everything else should go into the boss.

According to Raider. io, one guild, Camel Club/Stormrage, Hoofhartd, World #28 EP Mythic. Rogues bring more to a raid than feral (note, couldn’t check CN guilds in raider. io)

I think ferals do quite well in both single target and aoe situations. Only weaknesses feral have are:

  1. lack of utility compared to other classes in the pve, no shroud, or other useful mechanic to help high mythic keys. (making leader of the the pack work outside of pvp would help fix the this to some extent)

  2. too squishy in larger pvp battles

MofW is a druid thing and not a feral thing thus wouldnt help our situation much…

The answer to a group buff that would make ferals a little bit more wanted exists since classic, and it’s now collecting dust in the pvp talents.

Feral druids are a complete dumpster fire right now. They’re in about the same position as end of WoD demo locks.

I’m really casual so maybe my opinion matters less, but I’ve been having a blast in BGs as feral. Every match all I do is make healers hate their lives. That is my only goal. Its really fun for me.

Sure as Balance you can just DOT up everyone and watch your numbers soar. But I don’t feel like I’m really causing people on the other team to hate their lives until I’m feral.

I think Feral is more fun in PvP as well for that reason alone. As Balance, I could see myself doing damage and helping out, but I never really felt like I was putting any pressure on anyone as I do in Feral. Healers seem to be a bit more ancy around melee who stick to them rather than ranged. Just my views, from a filthy casual

You’re definitely on to something here. Balance will top overall meters because of incidental damage but Feral always feels like you’re actually putting a bit more pressure on a fewer number of targets.

Not to say that Balance can’t pressure, but the way they do damage is by pumping into one person with incarn/trinket cd’s, which is probably easier to answer than rotting 2-3 targets with bleeds.

I dont want to min max damage, i just want to be do as good as average skilled players while playing my feral perfectly.

Well this was incredibly disappointing to see. I had made this guy because i wanted to play a feral druid, Guess i wasted my time lvling this guy ):

They aren’t as bad as people make them out to be (you can do every activity in the game with them fine, but won’t excel at any of them), but they could use a lot of improvements to be on par with other specs.

Apparently to give junior sound designers something to play with.

Logs are sort of a double edge you can do stuff to deliberately stack damage. When the fights are on farm you can just focus on topping meters rather then mechanics.

True, thats why i thing 90 parses accros the board give you a better idea that MAX like OP says.

I know I’m probably sounding super entitled here but it really bothers me that a spec like feral has to choose between an aoe talent setup or an st one (brutal slash really is horrible aoe compared to primal wrath) while specs like havoc, fury, etc do more aoe and typically more St without that sacrifice.

Aoeing with brutal slash has always felt clunky and off to me.

The current BZ is just a garbage, fraud group
Specialized useless mounts and classic versions to lie to the player’s pocket money

This guy gets it
