Some of us are older/slower and they’re comfortably challenging. I like them.
Though I admit, I do not like the gob-king guy at all. He has a very bad habit of appearing in small spaces where you have no choice but to die as you cannot get out of his AoE.
Worthwhile is subjective. In RPGs the fundamentals are broken down to: does it let me beat the content im doing.
It only loses value or worthiness if you decide to place your gear value against someones else…but you would never do that
I dont care about what people get or how they get it.
I care that things are balanced. That rewards match difficulty.
Which expansion required me to raid in ordee to get gear to complete daily quests or to do the Fyrakk stuff in DF?
And yet those players didnt stay in their lanes. Lol talk about hypocrisy
The over simplification is laughable.
Item level. Was called gear score back in Wrath. Your “go along” was based entirely off of your item level which involved you going through the progression levels, involving notmal raid first
But i do want to hear more of your tails of 40 man ICC. Bet those were some glory days lol
It does.
M+ affected raids, delves affect everything else above it as well. Not seeing the effects because you dont do the affected content doesnt mean its not affected.
I think they could. Like in fungal folly, half the ups and down on ledges could be replaced by said quests
He doesn’t seem to be a bad M+ player (I’d say pretty good actually), but a MinMax type personality player is going to complain whenever their best gear does not come from their preferred content mode (maybe they’re a min-max type, but maybe not).
Rest is general, not about anyone specific responding in this thread…
If such a MinMax player really only wants to run M+, but easy-peasy T11 Delves offer low-effort gilded crests and hero vault slots, they’re going to feel compelled to do that in addition to trying to do +7 Keystones as soon as possible for gilded crests up to the seasonal cap (as opposed to just 21 from Delves, maybe 31 with a map).
Any ounce of extra effort that’s not in M+ or a BIS piece of gear that doesn’t drop from M+ means having to run content that is NOT M+ and that feels frustrating (although I’m sure Blizzard views it as cross-pollination to try other content modes, which I disagree with as a design principle).
Hate the design though not the players… if such a M+ player trashes Delve players rather than the design of Delves intended for those players (and not primarily M+ or Raiders), then bad on them.
I enjoyed the Mr. Delver and mole machine mechanics they put in this time around. But I really want to see a lot more fun things to use as CC, damage, finding treasures to use against mobs, etc.
No honey. There was a 4000 post thread of people angry about the Brann nerfs. But keep making crap up just because you refuse to act like a logical person and won’t stop being dramatic over your hatred of Delves.
So sick and tired of this crap. Not even responding further.
Not from me they won’t I happen to agree. The only spec I would disagree on is holy priest since they do not have an interrupt. Psychic scream only does so much and chastise doesn’t do much either.
It simply was easier, Grizzle. Almost anyone could do it. I don’t know if you were there or not. I’m not saying I was a great player. I was an average player who was able to go to higher content because the type of vetting going on then, and the relative ease of higher content, simply was not necessary, or comparable to what it is today.
So delves are there for the players who are turned off, or turned away, from elitists such as yourself from your ultra-prestigious, ultra-exclusive, holier- than-thou upper level content that the game has evolved into in the past 15 years.
By the way, you are welcome to slum it in the delves with the rest of us peons. After all, we are both just players of a game. If you want it to be more difficult, go over to the suggestion box forum and stuff it full of messages that tell them how much delves greatly affront you as a superior player.
I’ll be honest with you. I couldn’t care less what his accomplishments are. For a week now all he has done is insult players who enjoy delves because he finds them too easy. It’s just at jab at his childish ego.
As for the being compelled to run delves for the pitiful amount of crests, then that’s a them problem. It’s 100% completely unnecessary to run delves for the 23 crests a week that could get from non stop M+ runs. So, genuinely no offense to you, I reject that premise.
He’s nothing more than a forum elitist that has over 200 posts in the past week just in Delve topics. He needs to get over himself.
