I played a sorcerer and it was a face roll of everything so was the rogue. So from level one to at least level 20 and 25 its pretty much a easy breeze on those two classes play.
Already letting my sub run out. I’m not a fan of the path Wow is taking (which is sad, this game hooked me as a kid in wrath).
I just cant get with the kiddie style it’s leaning towards.
The D4 beta blew me away. The story is dark as hell and makes you want to keep playing. Everything is dark and evil and I love it.
If WoWs art style was like D4, it would be a damn near perfect game.
Wow is pretty much free to play now … as long as u earn enough in a month for a Token.
I used tokens to pay for bfa, SL and the monthly fees.
Got to 20, absolutely love it. Character customization is the best it’s been. Animations are smooth. Already experimented with different Druid builds and they’re so varied and all of them were really fun. Partner said the same for rogue.
It’s way too expensive though. I can’t complain too much because WoW is still $15 after all these years and I’m grateful for that. Might wait for a sale out of principle.
I am about as interested in Diablo Any Number as I am in having another tooth filling.
I will pause wow for D4 when i feel im pretty much done with this patch, saving it for that time. I liked it alot and thats coming from someone that only played wow for the last decade and a half
I tried out the “server slam” beta, and nnnnnnnnno. I won’t be playing it any kind of seriously. I probably won’t pick up the game until they do some kind of supersale promo price
This is my review of the gameplay:
clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick
…/look through inventory for the least valuable things to toss to make room for new loot to vendor or scrap
clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick clickclickclickclick…
I mean, it can be argued that WoW gameplay is a little like that also, but at least there’s a little variety in the core loop mechanics. Left click-click-click-click to move, left click-click-click-click to attack, do that until things are dead, and then I’m just not interested enough in the story that largely relies on knowing who all these angel-like and demon-like people are and why they’re doing what they’re doing just feels sloggy.
I’m sure some people will like it a lot, it’s just not my cup of tea.
I put WoW on pause for Tears of the Kingdom. D4 is going to have to wait until after FF 16.
To heck with D4.
Tears of the Kingdom is out lol. I’m already plastered to that.
Your priorities align suspiciously with mine lol.
Great minds and all that stuff.
I’m still on the fence about FF16. I might pick it up in a year when there’s an ultimate edition for $20 because I didn’t get through FF15, and I thought FF7 was a terrible remake. I don’t know what’s happening with Square these days. They don’t make games I enjoy anymore. KH3 was awful too.
Nier: Automata was great. I’ll give them that.
I debated it then looked into more.
Id have to clear my system for it and loose other things .
I’m happy enough with WoW to just keeping going with that over D4.
Eh, I’m not really excited TBH, Diablo 2 Remastered made me realize that I don’t really like the point-and-click style movement as much as I did back in the early 2000s. If they add official support for WASD movement in a future patch then I’ll try it out at that time.
After playing the beta I really liked it. So I plan to try and play D4 a lot, I’m actually looking forward to it! It’s coming soon!
I only played beta for like 20 minutes. I enjoy D3 in spurts, but I don’t know. The week it releases I am going on medical leave for a tonsillectomy, so I am going to have some free time. I haven’t decided whether or not I want to fork out the money for it or wait until a later time when it is on sale. Seems like a steep price, but most of the friends I have that play WoW are probably going to dive hardcore into D4 for a couple of weeks, so I will likely wind up doing the same just so I have someone to be social with.
I did. It seems super fun. When I really like an alpha or a beta that I get, I hardly play it so as not to spoil it for myself. If it is something that I hate or has content that I find difficult to overcome then I will play it more to see how best to be able to play it.
I preordered the ultimate edition last year, I’m highly excited for D4. I’ll probably still play wow, but I’ve been in the mood the past couple years for a new Diablo game. I liked Diablo immortal, but real life got in the way of playing that and wow.
It’s my favorite in the series, and honestly one of my favorite games of all time for any system. Definitely give it a playthrough. The end credits music makes my eyes water. I didn’t know you could make music out of onions… ![]()
