for the first time, i haven’t pre-ordered. SL was so bad that i want to see reviews before i fork out moolah for DF. :face_exhaling:

I MAY buy Dragonflight - if the following conditions are met.

  1. It’s on sale. I’m betting it will be within the first 6 months of launch.
  2. Reviews of it indicate a better plot than SL, admittedly that is a Hermes Conrad Olympic Limbo low bar to clear.
  3. No ridiculous systems like in SL.

There is NO way, short of it coming with a hall pass from my wife for a ready and willing Kate Beckinsale, that I will preorder it or buy it within 2 months of launch.

That’s why I’m not preordering as well. I’ve preordered every single expansion as soon as I knew about it (BC, I started technically in Vanilla but much closer to BC launch), or as soon as it was available to pre-order.

SL touched me in bad places.

Boy you posters are a negative lot, ya’ll must be the life of the party! JKJKJKJKJK…I won’t touch SL but I’ll play wow for life because it’s part of my world and that can’t change.

Since Pathfinder went live I have not purchased any new expansions. Playing Shadowland now and will most likely not continue. I fear completing the ‘work’ required to to get flying will be similar to the slog in BFA was to do same.

The straw that breaks a camel’s back might only be a straw, but you try telling that to the poor old camel…

So it goes with me and the Open World nerfs. I like dungeoneering and LFRing with the guildies, but OW is my bag. Whether you think that valid or not, if DF strip mines that further to get people into other endgame, it might be time to give the game a rest. Not to go elsewhere, but just give it a rest.

I was going to buy just to play evoker but looks like evoker is pretty boring to play. I’m still leveling my live alts with the winds in a desperate hope that blizz will make miraculous last-day changes.
I always dreamed of playable lizards or dragons in wow yet modern blizz has managed to poorly deliver on both. The lizards can’t even be other classes, why?!

I can’t stand retail anymore. I will just watch streamers do the bait and switch and complain after launch as usual. I see no changes in Dragonland Expac

  1. Mplus will still be a chore getting into groups(plus they raised the bar to +20 keys wtf)
  2. PVP still hard to get a rating
  3. Mythic rating gate keeping due to unique group ID that locks you to it
  4. Group loot causing social pressure to pass upgrades
  5. Basically so many things cause toxicity by design, players all all so expendable
    Good luck those that can put up with it I can’t anymore, I feel like the devs don’t get not everyone can mesh with guilds and having some teenager rage on them for 8 hours a week.

I haven’t decided either way.

I sure as heck aren’t preordering anything.

I think I’ll give it a week or two after launch, and see what the people think.

I’m going to wait for a month or two, weeks are too short and I’m sure some people will still be in a honeymoon phase at that point.

Nope. Never buying an expansion from Blizzard again. They don’t deserve it. They are lucky I pay a sub for Wrath. I’d honestly prefer to give money to a private server.

Not buying it right now. I have a car to fix first. That is much more important than a video game. Maybe I will buy it around the new year. If I can justify it.

Wrath classic isn’t even wrath tho they changed a lot already so I’m not playing that garbage

I didn’t buy it I played enough gw2 and didn’t like the flying there and don’t want in wow for myself everyone else can enjoy it cause I won’t be buying at least until regular flying is announced and that’s if df don’t pull a mass unsub like shadowlands did if so I ain’t wasting my money I have no problems playing wrath.

Not interested in classic. I’ve been there and done that. Not interested in Dragonflight because Blizzard has decided they don’t want my playstyle around. My sub goes past when it launches, but I’m not buying… Not unless something drastic changes.

dragonflight looks like it will have a strong launch, so yeah, most likely. if the expac ends up having bad drought or smth, then i’ll probably make myself finish leveling in wrath to scratch the itch

I’m not buying until they treat pvp better. sick of it always being a after thought. also on the beta forums we go so long with out hearing a word from devs and the radio silence makes me nervous. wont pre order for sure
